Well IDK man Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson looks like a little soyboy cuck to me whatever

Anyway, I get Michael Cera has a permanent babyface that makes him look like a kindergartener, but has he starred in any mainstream movie since that voice role in Sausage Party? Is he even relevant these days? He's looking hard for some evidence to support the narrative he's built, doing the same thing he routinely accuses the other side with.

I consider myself a Jordan Peterson fan. I do like that he's a man that values kindness and competence over power. He's the kind of man I want to be because he's good to people that it's sometimes hard to be good to, because it's the right thing to do.

Isn't all of it supposed to be comedic? Ripped men wearing women's clothes and acting like children is ridiculed, not glorified. Even Bruce Willis aka the embodiment of masculinity once starred in some shitty comedy where he walked around in a pink bunny costume of something like that.

I agree it's comedic, but isn't that how weaponized media works? You show people of whatever group you want to attack in a ridiculous light.

Or if you look at it from a less nefarious angle, how a generation of scriptwriters and directors are educated to be aware of toxic masculinity and try to defy gender norms.

I don't watch as many movies as I used to, so I find it hard to sense whether it is or isn't the case. It vaguely seems that there are more pathetic men in leading roles, but I dunno.
 
Well media with "pathetic men" is often shared in our circles to drive a point, but its not clear if it is actually the case or is someone spinning real hard here. I mean, Scott Piligrim was like 15 years ago and the main actor hasn't done anything of note since then, but he is still being used as an example.

All of those actors are over 40 and have done nothing to rock the boat.
All of those actors are also producers. Are their earnings from producing also getting taken into consideration?
Now exclude Producer/Actors with large established fanbases from 10+ to 20+ years ago when they started their careers.
There's no Robert Mitchum, Rutger Hauer, or Humphrey Bogart types anymore. There's not even Gary Oldman types.
Just familiar faces playing superheroes and nostalgia bait reboots from decades ago.
Where have all the young leading men gone?

Rather disagree on The Rock, you can accuse him of wimpy politics and appearing in kid shit movies but the man is nevertheless a fucking roided beast. Has had the physique of a Edgar Rice Burroughs protagonist for decades now.

Now Ryan Reynolds on the other hand had his version of Deadpool take a strap-on. Your Arnolds and Slyvesters much less a true man's man like Charles Bronson would never consider such a portrayal of emasculation.

I'm still baffled that anyone with a basic understanding of mental health would be drugged in Russia for a benzo addiction. A doctor supervised taper (which can take anywhere from weeks to months to a year or two) is the only real way to treat a benzo addiction. He claimed in the video where he discusses it he didn't realize how addictive they were when the first reports of the addiction protentional go back to the early 1960s.
