I think Mikhaila can be partially sociopathic puppet-master, and partially be in denial of her father's weakness. It might be both business-like approach, her sense that addiction word is a bad word for the future income, and other explanations are better, and at the same time a lame attempt to salvage her personal myth of the father as her hero.

These are not mutually exclusive. However, no matter what her motivation is it's not helpful to Peterson to avoid taking responsibility for his past behavior. He should go fully through shattering of his ego and then pick up the pieces and build himself up as a stronger, better version of himself. This is a story I would be interested in. Instead he patched himself up with some old duct-tape and he pretends that everything is fine. He is not too old to go through this and come out victorious on the other side, but according to the tidbits I see from their current videos, he just further damages his own ethos.

I do think Peterson appeals to some Incels because he thinks culture has shifted in a way that is negative to productive behaviors (this is the old definition of "reactionary conservative" by the way), but identifying videogames as an example of that is not somehow advocating playing videogames, or elevating no-lifer gamer dudes.
The bulk of Peterson's body of work both as a psychologist and a writer is focused on self-improvement, which means accepting that society may work against you, but you can't just roll over and be a fat, unproductive piece of shit and whine about it. Jordan Peterson is one of the people who works with 400 pound, low IQ spergs (IQs lower than room temperature) to get into paid positions and to try to support themselves. The Incel/MGTOW phenomenon is by and large driven by bad personalities, not bad bodies, with normal IQ and dysfunctional social skills that would have been "OK" in the 80s (it was much more acceptable to be a weirdo) but don't match in any way the current social landscape. Peterson presents the idea that yes, society may have played a role in this, and yes the benefits of relationships have been eroded, but unless you are specifically a cripple with half of your face burned off, you can turn your life around, and living your life as if you can turn it around is far healthier than giving up.
Giving up, or "doomerism," is Incel comfort food, and his war against it is why I still don't think you could count Peterson as some kind of Incel intellectual, which was the original claim.
