I have both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in an area of biology called histology.

I asked him once when we were still friends why he did not consider going to a normal four-year college for something like ecology or marine biology or even invertebrate zoology. He said that it was mostly because he had horrible math skills, and that they were basically at the level of a 5th grader when he got his GED. While the biology fields are far from math intensive, almost all Bachelor programs require college-level algebra to be taken as a general. Also, I think a large part of it as well, is the fact that he felt that he could not afford the cost of tuition and everything else and the US student loan system can fuck up many people's finances for life. I cannot disagree with his reasons here, as for those of us in this thread who are not Americans, our higher educational system can be ridiculously expensive in terms of what people have to take out in regards to student loans and many people end up in crippling debt for years or permanently after they graduate.
Plus, most people do not actually end up working in their respective fields after graduation in my country. Last I checked, the Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the rate at which biologists are actually employed in their fields at around 12%. There are many reasons for why this is, and I do not want to get too far off topic, but it is a combination of employers over-selling the viability of many "STEM" careers in order to flood the labor pool and maintain the "employer's market" labor environment in STEM, companies cheaply hiring scores of desperate foreign H1-B guestworkers from places like India that they can use and abuse with impunity, and the conversion of many former career positions into contractual and gig-work jobs lasting for a year at most. Finally, there is rampant age discrimination that often starts for STEM workers in their late-20's/early-30's because of the fact that companies assume many people in this age range start having familial obligations and would be less inclined to take the shitty poorly-paid, no-benefit temp positions that have made up a large portion of the STEM fields in increasing amounts since the late-1980's.

Not really trying to get a cheap “gotcha” or anything, just thought it was worth throwing out here since these were posted only hours apart. The Netflix/Disney double standard gave me a chuckle.
Sidenote: in 4chans history you can find him saying it’s wonderful men beat their meat to his drawings and whining that people call him a tumblrina there too. There’s some porn he’s drawn there but I’m sure it’s been posted here. There’s a bunch of other strangers saying he’s gone off the deep end too.
I was also wondering about your story @Fromtheblackdepths . I think you have a really strong understanding of Jonathan wojak. What did he do to spurn you? Do you have a story without giving up too much information? I just get the feeling you really want to warn people about bawg. You’re probably my favourite poster here.

Nothing he said is wrong, he’s definitely a cuck with some fun ideas and that’s okay. It’s not hard to separate the art from the artist but his behaviour has become so irrational and funny that it’s become more important than his drawings he never does anymore. He actually reminds me of Alex Jones or something because of how irate and over the top he gets over the stupidest shit.

For his defence I once saw someone on tumblr with the exact same ''quirk'' but just once, it don't seem to be common or if that the case it enclosed in a specific niche of user *cough* *cough* SJW/genderspecial/actuallyautistic/ADD *cough*

I would not put it past Jonathan to become another low-effort troon like Jim Sterling as he seems to have problems with the idea of masculinity in general. While I doubt he would go as far as surgery, I can see him trying to pull something like a half-assed lipstick and mascara job and using feminine pronouns to silence his detractors. Plus, that might be a way of trying to run away from his self-esteem issues.
Granted, this is all speculation, but he does tick a lot of boxes as somebody who would troon out for attention even if it would be done very lazily on his part.
