I would characterize Bawg as being more of a follower that apes whatever the opinions are of the people he is surrounded with. If Reverche was a conservative, Jonathan would probably be a MAGA hat-wearing, card-carrying member of QAnon.

In any case, his opinions are more of what I would call a liberal rather than a true leftist in the parlance of US politics.

In one post he seems to be thanking someone for wearing an awful hospital shirt. If it’s not Jonathan it’s definitely one of his friends. Jonathan sides with communists and chooses to purposely turn a blind eye to antifas behaviour in his city on purpose. Evading the truth is still deceptive behaviour. Whether he’s doing it on purpose or doing it because he’s afraid doesn’t matter. He knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s typical of his feeble conformist behaviour to try to make friends with equally insecure people. He lives in a subjective reality instead of an objective one.
