I agree it may look a bit like Taxi Driver or Falling Down.

I was about making a new thread, but I used the search button first. It's difficult to decide which of the two Jokers I prefer now, Heather Ledger may be the best Joker ever, but I guess the newest one presents a more humanized version, whether the previous one was notably edgier. As edgy as Nikolas Cruz disguised as Coldsteel the Hedheheg at the shooting range, while using a Columbiner TEC-DC90, and wearing sunglasses (mandatory school shooter quotes too, of course).

The Keaton movie showed us a Joker origin but it was hokey. This looks like it could be the catalyst for more villain origin movies. That Black Adam movie seems to be the next one up if it ever gets made.

I'd love to watch a movie about Lex Luthor's path to the US presidency. Something like House of Cards or a bleak version of The West Wing.
 
No, we know their idea of good movie is "vaginas and brown people get up against white patriarchy", hence they love mediocre shit like the crap the rat spouts out like the new Star Wars films.

I hope the movie does very good just to piss these assholes off.
 
I can't believe that trailer is getting mostly positive reaction. It looks so far up it's own ass, it can recognize it's lunch. I watch most of the capeshit that makes it to screen and this is a hard pass.

just kidding, this does look very interesting and captivating. it seems like dc is taking notes of what made the mcu do so well for the dceu while doing their own thing with these elseworld movies. i’m quite excited to see what they have in store now that they got rid of snyder and hamada.
