This guy doesn’t have any business taking care of anything more complicated than a glass full of sea monkeys. And even then, I’d pity the brine shrimp.

His previous ownership of a Serval makes me think he might consider the exotic cat route, or maybe even small primates. Then again, the recent crackdown on monkey torture and the internet’s highly protective attitude towards cats (there was some recent drama over a New York magazine/influencer rag featuring a piece about a woman who chronically neglected her cat and wanted it to die after she had a baby) might actually give him pause.

Honestly a lot of animal youtubers especially ones below like 100k are awful pet owners. who at least suck at keeping animals and often own too many and at most flatout neglect or abuse them for content.

Watched a number of videos on milking snakes for their venom and sometimes they'll just lose a tooth. They just grow back according to the people in those vids, so unless an owner would want to risk and repeat over and over it's not even an option.
There is a procedure where they cut the duct from the venom glands to the teeth, but apparently they can close again making that unsafe as well.

In india, they usually remove everything, making snake unable to feed itself without outside aid. It's the only safe way of doing tricks they do. Given the owners IQ being slightly above blood temperature of a reptile, I am not surprised it is needed even in Jeffrey case. I've met only one snake owner that has somewhat normal functioning brain, others lack it and are covered in tatoos, which is kinda self explanatory.

This guy did a rescue of cobras in India, after doing some fundraising before hand. He has this routine where he acts like some college bro, but if you watch his videos some of them go into detail about how he manages his exhibits and snakes, and he seems to know his stuff. He had one video where he discussed how he decided which staff were capable of learning to handle the snakes which was interesting.

Anyway he doesn't make any serious criticism of the Indians, probably because it would fuck things up behind the scenes. Some people might think it's worth a watch.

I have seen people who own owls, these birds seem to bond with their owners. I have seen them tilt their heads into head scratches. Am I right assume they are fairly intelligent animals? A shame they carry disease and are dirty because I find them cute.
