Jeffree had a 12 days of Christmas sale. Sold a lot of his stuff for $12. I got the Shane Dawson lipstick set and the Orgy palette. I don't think I have ever paid full price for his stuff.

How good is his stuff do you find? It must be decent enough seeing as a lot of people who don't like him buy it but I'm curious on it from the packaging to the usability of them. Would you think it's any better compared with other stuff at his price range? He claims he makes minimal income off each sale due to the quality of the ingredients so I'm curious if it actually is noticeable at all on a consumer level. It certainly isn't from buying ethical mica or he would have been shouting that from the mountains so it seemingly is from the amounts unless he uses an expensive lab

His lipsticks are good mainly because he has so many colours but they dry out easily if you don't use them enough, which is a shame if you buy the big ones but they also seem to last longer than than the mini ones.

His formula in his palettes I find quite ashy/chalky - bought the jawbreaker palette a long time ago and ended up giving it to a friend, I haven't bought anything since.

Not to gun-sperg too much but if him updating his social media while behind the wheel hasn't killed count orlok's more diseased campy cousin, then him treating a (presumably actual) gun (even if it isn't loaded) like it's a toy and isn't pointing it at his target, probably will.

Either way, jeffree's a full-blown retard that's fun to watch because not only is he a cow, but he also attracts other cows like a fat, greasy, glitter-encrusted turd to screaming, glittery flies.

ETA: I have bit of a crack-pot theory on jeffy boy here. The way he acts and that he hates women makes me think he might be a closeted troon since he tries to look feminine (a disgusting perverted version of feminine) and the way he posses like an insta model does too. I haven't really seen too much evidence to prove it, but he just gives me that kind of feeling of hates women because deep down he envies them for some reason or another and regularly is a shallow form of femininity.

Nah, people like Jeffree have always existed in the gay community pre-troon politics/"queer theory", effeminate gay men like him can still be found in gay bars and on tv drag shows. Think of gays like him being the male equivalent of a butch lesbian who wears pretty much exclusively men's clothing and looks manly but is 100% a woman and would correct you if you assumed otherwise (a reason they're targeted by troons). Gender non comformity was always part of the gay community before the trans community turned it into something to fix through transitioning. If the Birdcage movie were to be remade they'd probably be all turned into troons but a proper modern remake would be to fill it with dudes like Jeffree and any effeminate drag queens who don't think dressing like a woman makes them part-woman. There are lots of LGB articles and stories about how people like them are disappearing as they're being trooned out, even targeted as kids (especially since gender non conformity is a literal "symptom" for troon diagnosis in children in the DSM now). They're the ones given enby pronouns by wokesters without being asked and are targeted as bigots if they refuse to change pronouns while continuing to live GNC.

Hilariously I think Jeffree is so close to being a troon that he ends up being the anti-troon: he straight up enjoys traditional women's things and always has, cross dresses not to get hard or larp as a woman but because he finds women's clothes prettier (but does wear dude clothes too intermixed in there), is a gay man and ok with reminding people of it, doesn't cry about pronouns and doesn't care about them beyond not wanting to be called "it" while always calling himself a man, talks about how he wished guys would accept him as a dude when they fucked if they made him keep his dresses on, etc. Don't get me wrong, he isn't some grand gender critical poster child, but he is one of the few celebs out there actually ignoring gender aesthetics while also outright ignoring troon politics and not associating with them at all. Hell, now that I think of it when he was raising money for an LA gay shelter he pretty much only talked about gay youth and didn't do the usual sperg about troons that most do when they discuss anything about gays. The only times he's brought up troons was during his apology video when he was saying "there are more important things to care about like (insert black trans women spiel here)" and when pretending to like Nikita Dragun for about a week. It does make some sense to me though, troons in Jeffree's time/circles would mostly be actual gay men who either transition and immediately leave gay circles to start their new "straight" life or those who know deep down that they're still gay men who keep hanging out with the rest of the gays cause they figured their best option was looking for a chaser (and usually mocked behind their backs in cattier circles, especially by drag queens which you can even see in early RPDR seasons). Anyone confident enough to call themselves a gay man wouldn't want to associate themselves with that, even the sympathetic ones which Jeffree sure as hell isn't in general. Sure the tides have changed but Jeffree doesn't give a shit, he's still out there calling black women gorillas, I doubt he's changed his mind about trooning out now when he's never done it before.

I doubt Jeffree isn't aware that trooning out is a good way to deflect blame and drama, but it seems so against who he is that he likely won't. He's a gay man at heart and does accept that, one of the actual good things about him (except it is also ruined by the fact that he does seem to hate women too much to ever live out his life as one, he's big on reminding people he's a man when in arguments with women he always deems cattier than himself ironically)

So some interesting developments Jeffree wise regarding his business.

  1. His warehouse is no longer in California, it is in WY now. This was suspected for some time and a lot of us predicted this happening. He pretty much exiled himself from the California community. Interesting what the effects will be over time.
  2. Sales, sales, sales. The website has been full of sales since November which hints stuff may not be rosy in Jeff land. He may be "worth" $200 million but that does not translate to hard assets.
  3. Instead of boxes in December, he did a 12 days sale and it was actually OK. He was getting rid of a lot of Shane stuff though and a lot of palettes. There were a lot of reports of bad shippings though of the damaged products and from Reddit people were getting snarky remarks.

The cheapening of a brand - The last few months for Jeffree have been telling of the state of his business. His last year in sales was low, stuff did not sell out the boxes are still up.

He has made some moves that make the company look really cheap. He does pet stuff now and it looks horrific.

Did he move Killer Merch to WY? That's always been his big reliable money maker but the overhead for those warehouses must be infuckingsane.

I know he took his weed accessories distribution bullshit to WY, but did he move JS Cosmetics and KM?

His dumb overpriced dog toy line looks like knock offs of dumb overpriced Petco crap.
 
@StrawberryDouche I could find nothing on if Killer Merch moved according to google it is still in Chatsworth. The direct ownership is odd as it has a storefront and it looks like the warehouse is connected to it.

So from what people were saying in early Feb people were getting products from JSC dispatched from WY. So it looks like the warehouse and overall operations are from WY now. I did look at job postings but there is nothing to confirm fully. I know in a radio broadcast featured in an article but I cannot find it. The DJ did mention jobs in that one though so it was probably his intention to fully relocate over a year or two.

So it looks like this now

Killer Merch - California, he is a part-owner, so his involvement is much less needed.

The dog toys are weird, they are designed for smaller breeds like Poms and poodles but are way too big. The shapes are horrible too because a small breed would struggle with it. I will say, good on him to move out of California, place is a hell-hole.
 
Well, the report for the company was very suss, either low at $10 mil or at highest $50 but I can bet it is around the 15 million area. He has not sold out an expensive product in a long time. Those boxes are still all up and its post valentines day. His Reddit and metrics are very low as well.

Overall the beauty tuber side is fucked because of the economic issues in the world. A revolt against expensive brands and a drive to buy more consistent products. Companies like Natasha Danona are really coming into Jeffree's brand offering better palettes that are more cohesive for the same price. The difference is the formula is exceptional being far more blendable and simple.

Their new palette is basically what Jawbreaker should have been. (site is hell to upload images atm)

But brands like Glamlite too are straight-up doing alternative dupes to blood sugar and blue blood in the form of the Icee palettes. The owner is a legit hard worker too and likable whilst staying separate from the company whilst only coming out to talk about oncoming products.

The landscape is very different now and with a trend of color coming in Jeff should be capitalizing on it but he can't. He burned every bridge and is so slow to trends by years. There was an interesting theory going around about how Jeff's drive changed when Nathan went and there might be a grain of truth in there. Since Blue Blood the overall designs and effort have been piss poor, some being good but others being late or very tone death. This is business if you fuck up tone-wise, it may cost you millions. Whoever cleared him to produce cremated in May 2020 is fucking retarded. It does not help that Jeff is some weird Trisha Paytas unlikeable goblin either.

The business is in free fall it feels and the next few products are make or break. Jeff knows people will be watching him closely, skin is announced this week, I'll make a summary on.
 
So Jeff dropped the most recent trailer to his new business Jeffree Star Skin.

It's not a good trailer/video at all it's very infomercial compared to Fenty's video which is basically Rhianna teaching you the routine. It feels fake and somewhat desperate by comparison.


Now I personally have used Fenty Skin for over a year and price point-wise and quality it's good. It is the most accessible too which is Jeff's competition.

These products are heavily scented like mega with fruit extracts and there is not uniform scent. Fenty's is coconut and Barbados Cherry but it's pretty subtle

This took "years" apparently but it is very similar to Rare and Fenty's line that I am suss on that one. It's just unremarkable because it is all I expected, nothing that is really pushing boundaries. Companies fail when they get boring especially make-up companies. Look at Urban Decay, they've been in heat death for years now.

I will try it, I like companies that package a skin routine instead of these influencers saying buy x and y. The double cleansing approach is actually what is advised by dermatologists because it essentially rehydrates after the initial cleanse. I may try this but ordering online and not going to the store is a bummer but out of his launches, this is the one that is at least tempting.
 
For a launch, it's better than I initially expected but the strawberry scent and pink coloring are a bit of a turn-off. He should have sold a sampler though because people are very resistant to spend atm, so slamming $155 on an unreviewed product is a bit risky.
