Addressing her suicide post and CMU contacting her parents, her "abusers": When you enroll, you're required to provide an emergency contact. MOST college students put their family as their contact because of convenience and don't update it because FUCK IT, IT'S GOOD. When it was reported to the university that she had suicidal intent, the university is obligated to contact the her emergency contact, even if she was a recent alumni.

EDIT: I know people sneak others into the dorms, but it doesn't make it acceptable in regards to rules.

Correct. Lots of high-status schools treat their students like adults. CMU does: http://www.cmu.edu/housing/housing-policies/ "You can't keep an overnight guest for more than two nights in a row" is pretty loose.

She probably should not have gone to CMU. I'll go even further and say, perchance, that she even should have gone to one of those Very Christian schools where boys and girls aren't even allowed to hold hands. Because she wasn't ready for being treated like an adult.

This is her idea of "art" -- mutilating herself. When the same thing was done fifty years ago to torture-/murder-victim Sylvia Likens, the nation gasped in horror. I suppose these days, it's just par for the course among mentally-ill edgelords, so long as it's self-inflicted.

She wrote whore first and then washed it off; probably written with a Sharpie or a pen. Notice how the blood is already starting to scab up on the W? That's a good sign that her cuts are peppered and shallow enough just to draw blood means that she waited for blood to start pooling before she took the picture. It's basically a timeline; W is starting to scab over and E is still fresh. she didn't do it with a knife or razor blade so my guess is pinpricks with a pushpin.

If her 'service' dog is getting sick than she could held liable for it's health. Service animals take a long ass time to train and even if she paid for it it goes way higher than the level of pet; here some info on that. There actually a growing problem of people not needing service animals and still getting them, taking them out of the hands of people who desperately need them because of bullshit reasons.

I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, but I agree, that "self mutilation" is bull. It's just scratches that she's allowed to pool up. I put my initials into the back of my hand during a college english class (because I was bored), it bled a hell of a lot more than that, left a scar that you can still see 12 years later and didn't hurt a bit.

That looks like the kind of scratches you get on your leg from walking in a thorny area.

She sounds like she already was of fragile mind, and that incident pushed her over the edge. She's got a mental illness on top of the PTSD, possibly a personality disorder, but who knows?
Since rampant speculation is my speciality, I'll toss out some ideas. If she's borderline, attention seeking behavior is a primary symptom, so that would explain why she's wearing her trauma on her sleeve, and also why she screams at her family. Borderlines can't stand not being the focus of everyone around them. The other possibility is that she's a sociopath, and this is all just a ploy to manipulate people into doing what she wants (support her so she doesn't have to work). I'm leaning towards borderline myself.

I'm going to armchair psychologist this, but I believe Insert is attempting to force her parents into them having a Narcissist Complex. If you only read her side of the story (sibling that's babied and can do nothing wrong, emotional abuse, negating or gaslighting Inserts' personal suffering in order to maintain public image) it makes for a very compelling argument.

However...all that shit flew out the window when the audio files came out. Insert's batshit crazy.

I think maybe the dog is more an emotional support animal rather than a legit service dog that has been trained to help people. I know you can get a real trained service dogs for like, autistic people and I've seem one with my own eyeballs, they are trained to claim someone down when they are having a meltdown and to prevent them from hurting themselves (pulling hair, banging head with fists)
It seems that almost any animal can be certified as an emotional support animal, the guy I buy crickets from said he knows a lady who had her bearded dragon registered as a support animal like it had papers and shit.
I kind of think her parents just bought her a dog to try and cheer her up

One of my very good friends has a legit trained service dog for her (legit) PTSD, for what it's worth.

But that's not what's going on here, as both you and I are willing to guess.

Hey guys, does anyone know how lawyers work?

The OCR, which supposed to enforce our Title IX rights in educational institutions that violate them, has itself been deliberately mishandling our cases in the same way the colleges it oversees have been. I am not the only person who has had to deal with them violating their own rules.

I believe there is enough of us to bring a class action lawsuit against OCR for the damage they have done by refusing to set things right. I have already contacted Know Your IX, End #### On Campus, and SurvJustice.

I may be using incorrect legal terminology for bringing a suit against a government agency by many injured parties. However, you get the idea and I know this type of thing is possible because it’s been done before.
