I'm torn. I both want her parents to kick her out and want her to keep making these cringeworthy posts and recordings.

ISH says on her WordPress that she spent seven years in pursuit of her degree. It's possible she wrote the wrong entry year by mistake or, considering the pattern of exaggerating her accomplishments throughout her LinkedIn profile, artificially condensed the amount of time she took to earn her degree.
These noble farms are filled with college-educated cows. If there's one thing we've learned, it's that autism knows no intellectual limit.
You are brave for plumbing the depths of her social media postings. Finding relevant information from just the WordPress was a test of endurance.

That is pretty damn weird. I've heard of undergrad TAs in unusual cases (a friend of mine for instance), but you've usually gotta be damn good. We're talking you might get that your senior year in a subject that you've already more or less committed to doing a PhD on. But never have I heard of getting those sorts of things prior to entering undergrad. I think below is the most probable explanation.
It's also possible that she was at CMU from 07-08 followed by a couple years off when she had her "attack," and so she only counts her attendance from when she re-enrolled.. It's still weird that she would get a TAing job that early though. The only other thing I've heard of is for undergrads that have gotten good grades in certain courses to be asked back as a grader... which she might be spinning up into a TAship. The RAship and labship are basically jobs everyone gets in undergrad, though.

Wow... What an incompetent human being.
At 26 years old, if you're still living with your family you need to have respect for your parents. As a guy who loves his family, hearing her treat them like this disgusts me so much.

If I were her age and still living with my parents, I wouldn't be doing that kind of stuff. I'd be ungodly thankful for the support.
I can't even stop saying how angry she makes me. It's just disgusting beyond all relief.

A thousand WOW dogs-- insertsymbols has returned in fine form. The latest soundcloud is full of weird stuttering errors, contributing to the impression that she is literally possessed by cosmic evil.
I've explored deep into this thermonuclear family hell-well. Part of the issue is that her brother has his own problems, so there's a strong jealousy/sibling rivalry element to the already boiling satanic soup. We get some insight into her history-- quitting doctors and family therapy sessions because they disagreed with her. Insertsymbols is not a reliable narrator, but she says the therapist advised symbols' parents to kick her out of the house to "teach [her] a lesson" & "snap [her] out of this princess entitlement."
In the soundcloud, her parents make some interesting points. Of course, this is while she's screaming "CUNT!" and "DUMBFUCK!" at them, so she's not in a receptive mood (is she ever?) but her folks have apparently managed to arrive at a fairly clear analysis of the persecution complex at the core of her psychosis.

What I gathered from the new blog entries is that this broad has gone off the deep end. She needs help, and I mean that in the most genuine way possible.

She is definitely the victim of severe mental illness-- I don't think anyone (except maybe her) would dispute that. What's interesting to me about this is how, despite everyone in her life telling her so, she is still able so powerfully to weave this counter-narrative in which her behavior is fine and they are all conspiring to abuse and murder her.
I had someone very much like insertsymbols in my life for a very long time (#powerlevel), so this phenomenon in which someone can be outrageously awful to the others while angrily asserting the opposite is taking place remains of perennial interest to me.
What would be the medical diagnosis here, I wonder? Where does illness shade into actual evil?

Agree with the above -- she needs to be institutionalized, before she turns into the female version of Ahuviya/Philthy.

Art's an expression of emotion that can be shared through a variety of mediums.
