This guy is a fucking riot. And to think I would not of cared if he had not necro'd this thread.

I have a strategy for debating: act like a child and say random, pointless crap in hopes that the other persons will get tired of me and they stop before they make me ragequit

Hahahahaha..... wait, you were serious? oh... :story:

Btw, Chris wasn't born because Borb met at a bar, but because Borb were a couple of old, rednecks who were probably cousins and decided to have hanky-panky while they were shit-faced drunk, seriously, do you even know the very basics of genetics? saying that Chris was born the way he was born because Borb met at a bar, is just as stupid as saying that Chris is autistic because of vacc... hell, whatever.

Thank you for making that point for me. I notice I never hear anyone say any of my former bosses at the paper, or my ex-girlfriend and her dad, or my onetime business partner should be on the psychiatric couch. All of them have far more serious issues than I ever had. And, yes, they did try to fool me into seeking counseling after I tried to get my job back, and pay five hundred bucks for the privilege to boot. I refused, and that's why they kicked me out of school..

Ahem, if I may.
The Iconoclast ...blames Obama for losing his remote.
No, I blame Obama for signing the stupid bill into law to begin with without doing some research into the problems of the new technology. For example, since the box pulls all the stations through one channel, it makes the existing TV remote pretty useless. If you turn the channel with it, you get sixty-odd channels of dead air. Many stations--Antenna TV, PBS, qubo, IonTV--come in sporadically, depending on which way the wind blows, and are frequently blue-screened. Several, like FOX and NBC, are on the Forbidden List. If you turn off the unit it drops channels like bad stitches in a quilt. The DTV pal remote itself uses twice as many power as any other remote in my house, and batteries aren't exactly cheap. And the clock frequently loses time by several minutes a day, so after a week or ten days it's at least an hour behind. I am always running late for church or appointments because of it. And the only way to reset it is to turn off the unit, so I always lose the blue-screen channels. In short, I hate DTV, I don't call it "ObamaCable" for nothing, and I want analog back.

He thinks going to bars to meet people will make your children autistic.
No, I think it's a good way to pick up a one-night stand who will wait till you fall asleep, knife you, and then steal your wallet and your TV. You may just be an exception that proves the rule. Certainly Bob's judgement being impaired by booze didn't help matters. At least with a college relationship you can screen out the crazies, but then some left-wing thing will scream about Republicans sneaking around wiretapping our phones. Yes, darn that Big Bad Bush. [gasp] Oh, wait...oopsie.

Kittentits-- I said specifically. Issue, number, page, panel. A vague laundry list of gripes doesn't cut it.

Why should he do that? It's the rest of the world that's fucked up, not him.
Hmmmmmmmmm

You can get a used digital TV for like 50 bucks. A small used hdtv for not much more. Get a new fucking TV.

You yourself have said you suffer from ill health. Your life is miserable. Until you start accepting, or at least becoming open to, the fact that there is something wrong with your thinking process, this will not change. It will only become worse. Why not go for a mental health assessment, at least? What's the worst that could happen?
