I really need one since Hotmail no longer honors my Win 98 OS and I can't e-mail my .jpegs and text files anymore. But, no, as long as the so called "progressives" are in power at my old alma mater, I''m not allowed near their precious computer lab. They are dangerous, selfish, ignorant mental and morally-defective children in positions of power, and it's high time they cleaned house over there..

But they're hard to pay for when you don't have a credit card and can't order equipment online. Thunderbird? Is that a program? In my neighborhood, that was what the gangstas on the street corner drank when they couldn't afford Sterno. I had thought when I bought a new computer several years ago that it would be compatible with my old system, and it wasn't. I asked my former mentor at the college library for help, and he refused, flatly insulting me and threatening me with legal action (hence, the extreme punishments I alluded to before). I believe, because he lost his shot at a promotion at the paper for suggesting I start writing columns, he still holds a grudge against me.

Kittentits-- cite a for instance? I'm always trying out new layout tricks, and some work while others don't. I'm working on a couple of trade paperback reprint collections, and I want to make sure the image resize and compression doesn't make the text too hard to read. Any input is appreciated.

What you'd need is the typed copy, and that was probably destroyed or thrown out long ago. As for that link, I'm afraid I'd need a certificate of authenticity from Saturday Night Live--those Internet videos are far too easy to fake.

Because every body in a particular group of people have the exact same opinions and ideals? Look they may have a similar vision of what they'd like but not everybody can be catagorized as the same. I implore you to at least check out the clip to see if that is indeed what they are claiming you plagiarized. It features Micheal Palin and John Cleese (of Monty Python fame) as well as SNL producer Lorne Michaels. Kevin Spacey was the host and Beck the musical guest, and it aried in January of 1997. A great episode, I watched it, well, live back then.

I know internet videos can be faked, but roping in Palin, Cleese and Micheals to create something like that just isn't that plausible to me. Also it's on Yahoo, one of the two homes of officially sanctioned SNL on-line streaming sites (the other being Hulu). Also, as I've said, I watched it with my own eyes back in '97.

The real reason I want to see what you wrote is so that even if you never watch the video, that I've watched, I know with confidence they match up or not. Who knows, for all anyone knows Iconoclast, it doesn't match and I've either found the wrong clip, or you could be right and you've actually never plagiarized anything! Right now the only piece of the puzzle I have is what may possibly be the clip that they say you've ripped off w/o ever having seen any inkling of what you wrote. I'm willing to suspend my disbelief for now as I know that we cannot see the printed version of your article. But better scans and even a translation of it, typed by yourself would go much further in clearing your name and proving their conspiracy against you.

I guess I can't convince you w/o more hard evidence. I'm willing to go after said information if you're willing to get better scans and a typed translation of what was written up for all, or at least me, to see. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, I just am going after information. I know, I am believing what the internet is saying about this sketch, mostly because I watched it when it aired, but I'm willing to get the hard physical evidence you desire for myself and for you as proof. All I'm asking for is a bit of the hard evidence that you can provide to further your own cause. I'm not on either side here, just looking for info. (Also, just because I previously posted a link and talked a bit about the episode, I hope that you're not immediately dismissing me as a liberal scumbag, as I'm not trying to antagonize or disprove you in anyway. Also, of the two terms only "scumbag" can occasionally be used to describe me.)
