I wonder whether Obama will make an appearance in Texas or lend a hand. I seem to recall a former president helping out in the aftermath of Katrina. Pretty sure the Bushes will make a contribution, they're Texans after all. Chelsea Clinton will probably show up to shill for her presidential bid in 2020.
 
The airport in Houston is named after Bush 1, and he's already made a statement. He's in his 90's, though, so I doubt they will come out. Or at least, no one would blame them if they didn't.

W. lives in Dallas, last time I checked, doesn't he?

Blaming W. for the hurricane in general? Probably.

Anyone upset that his 93 year old father isn't currently waist deep in rescue efforts? Probably not.
 
All I have to say is that anyone looting businesses and homes in the wake of all this is human garbage.
 
I don't know if it's been brought up, but I wonder how the wildlife is fairing? I'm sure plenty of wild animals have been injured or displaced by the flooding, and I've heard about instances in the past of people trying to do things like hurt alligators and other displaced wildlife in situations like this. Hopefully people respect animals, especially potentially dangerous ones like gators and venomous snakes, and leave them to trained rehabbers and such.

Yo what's with the fire ants? Apparently they've become even more invasive over the course of the landfall.
 
To add to the wildlife issue (also because I love snake sperging), I don't know how big a rattlesnake population the affected areas have but I know rattlesnakes in particular fair extremely poorly with relocation, to the point where some people I know who do snake removal will just keep snakes that can't be relocated within a couple miles where they were found. So not only is this disaster leaving a bunch of homeless people in need, but potentially a bunch of homeless rattlesnakes and other wildlife.

Last I heard the fire ants were rafting themselves across water to survive. Basically the ants hold on to eachother and use their bodies to make rafts. That's probably helping them float to areas they might not have been before

As been menitoned before, probably, the southern most part of Texas is the most liberal part of the state. So the people who would be most sympathetic to you are the ones you're cursing and glad are dying. wow

It's because many of these SJWs, mostly white of course, believe that minorities can't defend or fend for themselves. In order to appear to be valiant defenders, they pull stunts like this because of the assumption that skin-deep "diversity" will make things so much better, amirite?

Some of the especially sick SJWs may also be engaging in revenge fantasies where they believe that whites (especially straight males) should be punished for being born.

It will also be funny when SJWs realize that the minorities they asskiss aren't all going to be so favorable towards their ideology. They may vote strongly Democratic but they don't feel strongly about the totally genuine plight of the bigender lesbian Muslim troon.

I don't see Bush Sr. coming out due to being 93 years-old and in failing health. Bush Jr. might since he's only seventy-one and he was clearly healthy enough to attend Trump's inauguration.

I've been feeding the birds around my place since they've taken up my covered landing as a place to stay dry during the rains. They normally forage for seeds and whatnot in the yard, but with everything being covered in water they can't. Lots of other people are sharing photos of armadillos, deer, and other animals in places they normally aren't. They're being very respectful about not trying to bother them, unless the animal is hurt. Then they're finding ways of containing safely and contacting wildlife services. Those people too are stretched to the limits.

People are being warned to stay the fuck away from those unholy floating masses of pain. Or to douse them with gas and set them on fire.
