Who is your favorite puppet in Puppet Master? I like Pinhead the most. He's comical now but as a kid he gave me nightmares. There was a kiwi user named Cuckoman, I think, Who used the Tunneler as his profile picture, and Tunneler is number 2 for me. Also, can you guys recommend any of the Puppet Masters after the 2nd one? I've heard rumors they're pretty bad. Same with Hellraiser, anything worthwhile after Hellraiser II?
The Puppet Master remake is probably best. For the original series, stop at 5 at latest. 5 is not a classic, but afterwards, there is only pain. I would pay Charles Band $10 to sign a notarized document stating that Puppet Master: The Legacy is not canon.

I'd pick Tunneler most days, if I had to choose.

I watched Final Exam last night. I didn't think it was bad. I thought Radish was a good character. I'm very quickly running out of slashers to watch, I've milked this sub-genre dry, other than animal horror and some creature features, this is really the only sub-genre I care for. A classic whodunit slasher will get me hard every time. I guess you can thank my mum for that, she showed Scream to my brother and I when we were 5 and 7 respectively. I think the only thing left for me now other than watching extremely low budget slop is to venture into Italian horror like Argento and Giallo films. Though, I've heard that there's some really good shit there, so maybe I should be more excited than I am.

Totally generic slasher. When the killer appears you first think that you missed a scene explaining who he is and what's his motive but no, it's just some dude. One of the worst killers ever in a slasher. Basketball face from Night of the Dribbler was better:

The only part of the movie I laughed at is when the cool kids stage 'le epic prank' by faking a terrorist attack.

Why are they singing GATORS when the team in the movie is the LUMBERS? Did they have to change and do reshoots because of the literal serial killer at UF in 1990? Also, why did the guy who got the razor on the rim already have a metal hand? Also, the Zucker Abrams Zucker // Sean S Cunningham vibe is great.

Which of the clowns will be non-binary in the remake?
Actually there are female clowns in game. And they are very sexy thankyouverymuch! But Ryan Gosling is producing it, and being woke in media seems to be going on a down-turn. So maybe not? Time will tell.
Really? I didnt know this.
Yep! It's free to play on Steam with cosmetics being where they get the money from.

Yeah, that was my main gripe with the movie. What's a fella to do after he's watched all the Italian slashers? I don't care for supernatural horror or psychological mind fucky horrors. Old creature features from the 40s, 50s, and 60s?

I'd say my favorite puppet is Tunneler.

Agreed. It's been a while since I rewatched anything after 5, so my memory isn't good on later entries, but I remember a lot of disappointment. I still haven't seen any of the recent ones. I do remember Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys with Corey Feldman being fucking terrible, that's for sure.

Well, this was, kind of a letdown. I like that they attempted to give it an 80s movie look by putting the grainy filter over it, but the camera and audio quality needs to be worse to achieve what they were going for. I'm not saying that camera and audio qualities were bad in the 80s, but they were worse than what we have now.

You say their FUCKING names, it's daisy and rosebud, they're Debbie's roommates.

I'd recommend The Incubus (1981) which is a monster slasher shot in Canada.

Other ones would be Nightmares in a Damaged Brain AKA Nightmare (1981) and Angst (1983). Angst became more popular in recent due to Youtuber's suddenly listing it as one of the most disturbing films ever made which is partially deserved. It's disturbing and brutal at times but it's no Salo or Man Behind the Sun.
