The original Suspiria (1977) has a beautiful art direction. The soundtrack was really good as well and did a good job building suspense. Was nice to rewatch it again.

Just finished Hell House LLC. Was it the greatest found footage horror movie ever? No. Do I wish they added more interview scenes? Yes. Was it bad by any means? No, I don't think so. Will I watch the other movies in the franchise? I don't know, probably not, Origins has good scores, though. What are you guys' thoughts on Hell House LLC as a movie or franchise?

The Last Podcast guys had an interview with the director a couple of weeks ago that i listened to. He sounded like an utter fucking moron hood-rat.

Black directors are shit at horror. Get Out was fucking terrible despite being hailed as a reinvention of the genre and Peele's Twilight Zone reboot was shit as well.
 
Well yesterday was the day The Fog takes places. The events would have technically happened 45 years ago. Jesus.

Didn't get the chance to watch it last night but I'm going to make up for it tonight and watch some nature themed horror.

You guys have any favorite horror films for Earth Day? Don't cheat and say any animal attack movies.

I feel like this is the case for so many horror movies nowadays. I guess thats why we love to watch older movies or outliers like Robert Eggers. The (lets call it) community longs for horror films that aren't complete crap.

Talking about crap: I watched Psycho Goreman.

I just want more slashers, that's it. I don't even care if they're bad, I like bad slashers, but it seems like people don't care much for the genre anymore. I know X, MaXXXine and Pearl were successful, and there have been some smaller ones that have come out recently (Thanksgiving, Heart Eyes, In A Violent Nature, the Terrifier movies, Smile 1 & 2 etc.) but I guess I'm just being greedy. I just want to go back to the whodunit slasher craze of the early 2000s and prior. They scratch an itch in my brain that no other sub-genre does.
