Rob Zombie's work are usually pretty fun, and I get that he's also a diehard fan of The Munsters (why else would he make his own song, Dragula), but this is just disappointing here. Shit, this looks much worse than either the 90s Casper movie, Eddie Murphy's Haunted Mansion, or the two Raja Gonsell/James Gunn Scooby-Doo movies.
You know, I clicked play fully expecting to hate this, and while it doesn't look amazing, it feels like it's been a long time since we had a colorful and sincerely goofy movie. I'm down to check it out.
Did they hire a midget to play the girl? It's clearly a 20 something woman but she's 4'nothing. I've heard of things like this but it was mostly families adopting children from other countries and it turns out it's like a 20 or even 30 year old midget.
Fuck it, the third movie needs to have Danny DeVito play the child. Seriously, is this sequel supposed to be a satire?

You know, out of all the one-shot horrors of the late 2000s, Orphan is the last one I ever expected to get a prequel of all things. Like, it's a decent horror flick but they might as well make a prequel to freaking Dead Silence.

Rights to Friday the 13th get out of limbo and Zombie snaps up the opportunity for another remake. This time Jason's mom (Sherri Moon) is a devil worshiper and that's the reason he's an immortal retard.
Doubt it because there's tons of neon lighting. If you're doing black and white then you don't have to worry about lighting as much because it's easier to set up shots.
