On January 14th 2005 this photo taken on the surface of Saturn's moon of Titain by the Hugyens lander.

This was first photo taken on the surface of an object in the outer solar system, and the furthest surface picture humanity has ever taken, along with being . If the sun was visible in this image it would be 1/10th of the size it is on earth.

Saturn V.jpg

I love the scale of this image. From the NASA website: "The Saturn V rocket was 111 meters (363 feet) tall, about the height of a 36-story-tall building"

Actress Clara Bow wearing a hat and blouse with swastika branding, circa 1920s. Contrary to public belief, she is NOT a Nazi. Remember, the swastika was adopted by the Nazis in the 1940s.
I can’t remember the proper symbolism for the swastika, is it well being or something to that effect? I do know many pilots put it on their airplanes pre WWII for good luck, which led to Allied aircraft changing that to how many German planes they shot down

Mostly its a symbol of luck and prosperity. You see it more in the East in places with populations of Buddhists, Jain, and Hindus.
It's funny. She DID visit Germany in the 30s and Hilter fangirled over her with a signed copy of Mein Kampf. She didn't care either way. But that photo is unrelated.
