But if you pirate content, you are literally stealing intellectual property. And that means less money for content creators to create...
...At least according to the people who, say, agreed with OceanOfPDF being shut down.
Really, I could go on for hours on why the notion of stealing raw data, information, and ideas (which is all "intellectual property" really is) as if they were concrete, physical, solid objects is retarded as fuck.

Not to be too offtopic, but personally I shy away from that stuff. When GG happened I mostly just kept watching the trashfires while talking in private IMs with friends. My only real interaction was looking at the occasional bit of info and going "holy shit what the fuck is this" and "Is this shit real? Is this like a real life conspiracy?" when the GameJournoPros shit was revealed.
On the other hand, I totally wouldn't mind fighting autism with more autism when time allows it.

Can I just come out and say the thing on my mind the most? Here:
Those MCs look like absolutely unfuckable midgets. They don't look grown up. They don't look like children either. They look like fucking midgets of an art style out of Steven Universe or that new fucking Thundercats animation and shit.
Anyway, if this is what an original looks like here, I'm sure Japanese studios will keep doing just fine.
And I don't mean animation. I mean original animes. 'Cause the thing about anime, it's seasonal. Just check out Anichart. Different studios work to get in a 11 or 12 or 24 episode long show into the season, if it's short it finishes that season, if not it continues into the next, but the studios are always looking to make the next show. Sometimes they substitute in an anime adaption of a manga or light novel instead of coming up with a wholly original idea and story.
But it's a constant process. I doubt these rainbow haired keyboard warriors will even make much bank of this, let alone be able to do a continual process of constantly creating new shit year round.

Also Crunchyroll forget that it only take that for example Netflix get their policies about Anime updated to fuck them good, this "Crunchyroll original" is just a pathetic attempt to emulate Netflix, but Netflix ACTUALLY give a damn about their animes and ask ACTUAL japanese animation studios to go wild because they are not chained to TV regulations, that is how you get things like Devilman Crybaby and Godzilla

/co/ storytimed all the issues when they came out (2015 I think?) and because I like hurting myself I read I think all of them (except maybe the very last one, I dunno who cares). It's hard to put into words just how awful it was (partly because I erased a lot of it from my memory as a means of self-preservation). The art rivaled SQRL GRRL in terms of how bad it was

yet still didn't hold a candle to Leth's atrocious writing. None of the cast was in any way shape or form memorable (the only sidekick I distinctly remember was the gay friend and that's only because they made him look like a lumberjack because stereotypes are good actually) or remotely likable while the villains were all Z-list white guys (only specific one I remember would be Arcade) who never posed any sort of threat whatsoever leading to a complete lack of tension or reason to care across the 10 or so completely interchangeable issues of a bunch of cardboard cutouts teaming up to defeat a different cardboard cutout and then returning home to more pointless Tumblr drama.
Bottom line is Kate Leth has produced nothing of value over her entire """""career"""""" of coasting off nepotism and the odds of that suddenly changing with this new abominable-looking show are completely negligible so whatever your expectations are for it expect it to be even worse.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: I'm getting major "original English manga" vibes from this to the point I'm not going to be the least bit surprised if this is similar to when Tokyopop scammed amateur artists while pushing that Courtney Love manga on top of it.
