I sympathize with those who don't want GG shit involved with this, but.... Seriously, have you looked at the sales pitch trailer for Heartmob? First 20 seconds, we have people who are front-and-center in Anti-GG and all of whom are known for their shit behavior. This false equivalence shit needs to stop, because however spergy your average GG supporter is, it's a very different breed of atsimu from its opposition.
Let me elaborate.
In general, the comparatively few GGers who pull the Quinn Gambit (screaming about how victimized they are) are openly mocked. Gamergate generally self-polices pretty harshly, and is ultimately leaderless, which is why this is the case. Homer and Jace aside, we have not had a single Pro-GG lolcow on here.
...But we have had almost a dozen Antis, including Brianna Wu, Peter Coffin, Andrew Dobson, Chloe Sagal, and more. Some of these lolcows we've covered because of their work outside Gamergate (Dobson, Coffin), and others we've covered specifically due to Gamergate (Wu, Sagal, Devi Ever). The Antis are also replete with other career lolcows we've covered, including Laurelai Bailey, Ahyuvia Harel, and even OPL. With the rare exception of the likes of Chris himself (who is in it solely for solidarity reasons), the bulk of the people involved here are hucksters, frauds, and criminals. People with honest-to-god criminal records. This is to say nothing of Lolcows we haven't covered yet but are dangerously close to their own threads, such as Arthur Chu, Randi Harper, and Sarah "Dogfucking Pedophile" Nyberg.
Veterans of the Chloe Sagal thread will note that Sagal herself is some bizarre quantum singularity of lolcowery, and that she has tangible connections to at least 5 other lolcows and multiple lolcalves. Anti-GG is replete with these people, yet there's almost no one with this level of visibility or lolcow viability as your average high-level Anti-GGer on the opposite side of the equation.
This begs the question: Why? Why are there so many lolcows in this fucking movement, whilst the other has so few in contrast? It'd be one thing if it were equal spergs, but it isn't. Homer, Cernovich, et al do not equate the sheer fucking volume of lolcows in the opposition. So again: Why?
The answer is complicated, but ultimately boils down to their love of echo chambering and desire to say/do whatever without being called on it. This is, as I mentioned in the Mr. Enter thread, the core trait of any lolcow: A complete lack of humility. And it's easy to see that the Anti-GGers have this trait in spades. If we factor in the simple practice of like attracting like, the reason becomes obvious. To a man, they all love echo chambering, all love brigading, and all hate fair fights. They also aggressively hate being accountable for their actions and don't like being called on their shit behavior. They sure as shit don't like open discussion and debate of their being shit human beings - the very number of them that have tried to attack the farms directly attests to that shit. I've said countless times and will doubtless say a thousand more, reality has an notorious anti-lolcow (and pro-GG) bias, and they'll do anything and everything to make sure they don't have to face it.
It's also worth noting that my experience with Vade nicely bookends this - I have familiarity with the so-called SJWs, their means, and their methods. This will be turned into an attack platform and a new means to try to shame, bully, and blacklist others into obedience, same as Vade did with TF2FIP and Furryscumbags. You've already seen what they do with the fucking blockbot and private Twitter accounts, is what I'm getting at here. Anyone who thinks that this isn't going to be a repeat is fucking deluded as hell, and I will hear no argument. The only difference here is that it'll have a splash of money laundering, just for good measure.
If this goes nuclear, and I hope fervently to GodJesus BearChrist it does - this could be the lolcowpocalypse we've all been waiting for. Hell, even if this fizzles, it might bring enough salt to be hilariously enjoyable. I hope you fine men and women of the farms are ready.
