How powerful would Jeffery Dahmer be in Hell in HH?🤔
Well, in the pilot he had his own cannibal cooking show.

A question for all you kiwis. I wanted to know your opinion on this:

Would you say these statements are the same or different? And why?
I recognized these images from Tumblr and the person who made the post explained well why they are different:
"The difference in wording here is so small but so important. Because it's a real examination of why Charlie's character (as well as the show's lesson) is failing now in the show.

Not everyone can be redeemed. Anyone can try to atone, but there are things that people have done that they can't make up for. But the point of Charlie's dream (or what should be the point) is that everybody should be given the chance and the resources to try and be better.

It's a way more realistic and mature outlook on what she's trying to accomplish. Even though Pilot Charlie is naive, this shows that she has genuinely put thought and effort into her goals. Show Charlie feels like she's never considered the implications and is continuously caught off guard by how awful her people are because of it.

There's also the hope vs belief aspect of it. Pilot Charlie is optimistic and willing to do the work even with the risk that it won't work. Show Charlie is so rooted in her beliefs that she's never logically considered the alternative"
To add my two cents on this, I feel like comparing these two statements is like comparing the pilot poster to the Season 2 poster.

The left is about an optimistic woman buried in a sea of degenerates just wanting to find the brightness in everyone.

The right is about the "hero" having to stop the bad guy.

I still find it funny that Viv regretted this joke, but ended up making a reference to Hitler in Season 2. I don't even have any issues with her making Hitler jokes in itself, it's just that the joke is pretty much the simple fact they acknowledged Hitler in Hazbin, whereas the Jeffery Dahmer joke actually has Dahmer be implemented into the world in an organic way, even for those unfamiliar with him. Yes, I know Hitler's more universally known, but still.

Who was the rapist? $4 says it was Vivienne Medrano herself.

There might be some truth in what you say..

Already posted but its funny to send it in from a video someone recorded her stories.

I know I always use this image whenever I compare pilot Charlie to show Charlie but it's just such a good comparison:

One is genuinely happy to live in Hell while the other pretends to be because...well that's what her character is supposed to be.

It's like the word retarded in the Helluva Boss pilot (granted that was probably Brandon's choice but Viv approved of it either way), and then they made a joke in season 2 about how they can't say that anymore. It's just a bit funny to me, because a lot of people who were offended by the word like to use the "it's Hell" excuse for everything that has to do with Valentino. Rape is okay, but saying the word "retard" is really pushing it apparently.

Viv [every day on Xitter]: Can't believe this HARSH CRUEL WORLD wants FAGGOTS like me put into reeducation camps or thrown in the woodchipper for BEING LGTBQIAPP+. It is absolutely HORRIFYING.
Also Viv: So anyway HITLER AMIRITE?? XDDD

ETA: How does hellborn Charlie know about Hitler if allegedly "real bad guys" are obliterated upon death? Did she go to a special Hell school to learn about Earth happenings?

Is that still canon? It's very difficult to know what from the pilot days is kept in the show because it explicitly doesn't SHOW what is still canon from back then.

So good luck to the normies who don't follow Viv's Twitter/Bluesky, interviews, conventions, or other outside sources to understand what's going on. And voice actors like to make their own headcanons on shit so you can't believe everything they say. And even the creator herself can't even be the go-to source because half of the time she just says some random fun idea that pops into her head that's not part of the actual story. So, does purgatory exist in this universe? Beats me. Join in the conversation with a bunch of autists who firmly believe either option with their own facts to support their case.

And even then, you still have to do your homework on past information that's from an old livestream, Tumblr post, etc. And some of that might not even been archived, so it's a lot of "he said, she said". And you know how reliable that source is. So many people strongly confirm that Rosie is a hellborn, but that's information from over 7 years ago from a person who's not working on the show anymore. So that might not be even canon anymore. And even if it is revealed to be canon later on, most wouldn't figure that out from foreshadowing in the episodes like a good written show would do. At least we finally got some confirmation is season 2 that only angelic weaponery/power can permanently kill the Sinner...though eveyone still acts like it's life or death situation by means that don't involve angelic shit, so I can understand the audience's confusion of that still.

Wasn't planning on making this rant, but oh well.

Did she go to a special Hell school to learn about Earth happenings?
I assume so. We know she went to some kind of school because of the photo of her going to prom with her boyfriend at the time, Seviathian. I think it would be pretty reasonable for a royal in Pride to learn about what goes on up on Earth and why people are sent to Hell as sinners, at least on a surface level.

But then that just kinda flies in the face of "everyone can be redeemed." If everyone can be redeemed, why didn't the SUPER EVIL that skipped Hell and went straight into the void get a chance? Shrug.

Charlie definitely went to a special school for special children.

LGTBQIAPP+ sounds like a gay wi-fi password

Hell school? I wonder even more about the economy of hell....

I'll admit, the word personally makes me uncomfortable because I have an autistic brother... but I don't get all pissy whenever I hear someone else say it.

Reminds me of one of the RWBY writers revealed Ironwood's Semblance in a commentary or livestream, and even that was just damage control to explain him acting wildly out of character.

Another thing that sort of gets to me. If there is a prison system in this world. Is there an education system? Do the Imps and other demons go to evil gay school?
We do see a prison in the Exes and Ohs episode. There's firefighters; lawyers; doctors; a sort of police force with the reapers; even a courst system (though corrupt). It makes some sense as we see most of these things in the other 6 rings that aren't Pride, since Hellborn solely reside in those rings. They were born and raised in Hell, so for them to have their own society is not entirely illogical. Though how exactly the society runs and if it differs between each rings, it doesn't really say.

Now Pride ring in itself is an entirely different system from the other rings as it is run by the Sinners and is supposedly anarchial. There really is no law that is needed to be follow, but it relatively follows a lot of Earth's way as there are ranks of powers, corporations and industries, and I would propose other economical values. Which in itself could be a commentary on how no matter the time period or location, humans are just naturally inclined to fall into differing positions to make a society run (though I don't think none of the writers were trying to make this an intentional thing). Imagine, you work all you life at a 9-5 dead end job, only to end up doing that for eternity with now the added bonus of the people around you indulging in their worst tendencies.
I'll admit, the word personally makes me uncomfortable because I have an autistic brother... but I don't get all pissy whenever I hear someone else say it.
And that's fine. I'm not condoning for everyone to start saying slurs and/or offensive words all the time. I'm pointing out the people that use the "It's Hell" excuse to explain horrible actions on screen, but then go back on it for no-no words. Maybe it's because the worse thing they ever had to deal with was those words, and they don't fully comprehend the full horror of stuff like murder, cannibalism, violence, and rape.

I suspect in Viv's world the bigger the fag you are the more powerful you become in Hell.
In Viv's world, you can be a prolific serial killer for decades and no one suspects a thing. Even if all your murders take place in the exact same area, or even building. This also somehow translates to demonic power because I guess it's Harry Potter rules?

Time the fuck out: If the "real bad guys" don't exist in Hell... THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS HELL EVEN FOR?!

This would be excusable if the Sinners we do see were allowed to be actual bad guys – but the worst we get is Alastor's pay to win ass being a cannibal, Vox chimping out and permakilling a bunch of folks in the S2 finale, and Valentino not even being Epstein-tier, but like... just a basic-ass pimp

How many overlords would have been thwarted while they still lived on Earth if Columbo existed in Viv's world?
