The only person I ever met IRL into Hazbin Hotel was a fat, gay autistic man. I never asked him about it, he just wore a stupid shirt with one of the gay red characters on it.

I know I complained before about how temu quality most of the pins are getting but these new ones take the cake. The special glow in the dark Halloween ones looked good IRL so it's obvious they're cheaping out on the pins that aren't like special edition ones.

On a larger screen, the placement of the pins makes it look like Moxxie set a trap to kill both Blizo and Loona. That would be quite a Shyamalan twist :lol:

I only get plushies from sharkrobot.

Other then that, I don't bother getting T-shirts and avoid per-orders.

I would not mind playing cards offer, (Especially when it's Final Sale, it also tells you about the merch) however I don't want to see characters I dislike, especially the tranny.

Those card faces are eye seeringly awful. I can't even imagine trying to play with those.

ETA: Looking at them closer what the fuck are those suits? Why custom suits? Do these people have any idea what suit hierarchy is or why it's important?(the answer is no) and there's no consistency in the designs for the face cards whatsoever so I can't tell at an immediate glance what's supposed to be a Jack and what's supposed to be a Queen etc. And why are the tens face cards as well? What the fuck? Are the number cards also just pictures? That'll be fun trying to decipher at a glance so the game doesn't drag.

To be fair, do you actually think any of these people actually play card games that require poker cards? I think this is just shit people will buy, that will then just stay in a draw somewhere.

You know what? You make a good point, I forgot about the fact that these people probably don't play card games that aren't TCGs.
 
If Viv thought French suits were beneath her, she could have just made a Tarot desk instead. The minor cards, according to my 5 seconds of research, have four suits (Wands-Coins-Swords-Cups) although there's and extra card (Page). You could get creative with the Major cards (Chariot = I.M.P. van, Empress = Stella etc.).

Is Tarot even still around in new age circles? I'd say her tumblrite crowd would eat it up, but I actually have no idea.
 
I've mentioned "I don't know I just thought x" was her motto she probably had tattooed, but in Season 2 Episode 8 it rears its ugly. I didn't watch any of the episodes of season 2 prior, but I watched a video explaining it and it really is Vivienne's motto. All of it. So basically Vox gets support of the entirety of hell (it's honestly one of the better plot points of the show and actually makes it kind of interesting now) and he becomes almost as powerful or on the same level as an angel from heaven or, according to his own words, a god. Alastor tries to best him, but he fails and Charlie has to admit something she strongly doesn't want to do because it has *gasp* consequences for the rest of her home. She has to admit Vox won and that will make him the God of the underworld I guess. But then Valentino steps in and it turns out all you have to do is just rip Vox's head off of his body and boom that's all it takes to kill him.

Like the best fucking moment in the entire show and Hellaverse history is basically undercutted by a cheap gag Vivienne threw in there for no other reason other than "I don't know, it just thought it'd be funny". It's unclear as to how much influence she has over her show, but her directing style just fucking reaks of her shitty decision making and bad ideas and it really makes itself apparent in this episode. I think now that Amazon is in charge of this show and owns it (I think) they need to step in and have her voted out of the company and make a statement that she just wasn't making good decisions and we felt she wasn't the best choice for continuing this show and we as a company need to step in.

A lot. She's mentioned in the past that Amazon has only ever said "no" to one thing she wanted to include in Hazbin, and wouldn't say what that one thing was.

In fact, she specifically negotiated that Spindlehorse maintains 100% creative control over Helluva Boss. Which could be funny, if Amazon genuinely is contractually locked into airing anything she wants for HB, but I doubt she'd poke the bear in any serious way and risk lawyers getting involved.

Never going to happen. Viv has repeatedly claimed that whatever happens in Season 3 is the thing that got Hazbin signed for a deal at all, so Amazon/A24 is entirely on board for everything that has and will happen.

For that matter, she's claimed that Helluva Boss has been 100% done writing wise for years, which is why they know the exact episode count for future seasons. Amazon looked at that, read over it, and liked it enough to sign that on as well.

Like it or not, Amazon/A24 loves her writing.

Talk about the most average of shorts. I'm so neutral to it that I can't really come much up with to say about it except that this plot could have been an actual episode if we were back when the show focused on it's assassination black comedy premise.

Usually the shorts feel like they drag but this short was...well short.

What had me laugh was the 'don't be racist about India', him just randomly wanting everyone in Utah fired because the arrow happened to land there in the globe, and the audacious use of 666.
Everything else, though... I kept avoiding the video and audio because of how intense the stuff was. The whole short was exceptional.

I feel like that is a problem with a lot of modern shows that are advertised as comedies. They can't just have a serious moment be serious; there has to be a joke in there somewhere. Sir Pentious' death had to be a joke; Adam's death had to be a joke; so Vox's defeat also had to be a joke.

But it's not like Hazbin Hotel never lets anything be serious. Vaggie's past as an exorcist is mostly played straight, so why the other moments can't as well I don't know. Maybe they just don't want the villains to be too serious, because Helluva Boss also suffers from that.
