Another teaser, this time focused on Husk, Angel, and Niffty. The fading audio of Husk yelling as Niffty carries him off is weird. Hope it doesn't sound that bad in the actual episode.

I don't know how people can say Blake's Angel Dust sounds no different than Michael's version. I just find Blake's to be more whiny. Especially whenever he makes a sexual remark and has to drag...on...the...sentence...to...make...it...longer.

Anyway, what I wanted to talk about is that Youtube has been recommending me clips of a Netflix show called "Haunted Hotel". Since I haven't watched the show yet and only seen clips, my feelings on the show has been pretty neutral so far, but I am surprised that there has been no comparison between it and Hazbin since there are some vague similarities. Also, Keith David voices a demon in the show.

It s basically some sort of cartoon spin off of a very popular format called Ghosts, originally English then american adapted sitcom about a couple running a haunted hotel. I honestly enjoyed the American version of it, it s quite entertaining and they have far more believable and relatable love stories than hh for sure.

So, have they just given up on the whole Alastor rarely swearing thing?

Keith feels like he's hit the point in his career where he just likes being in shit, which I have no complaints with.
Can't wait to get to that point.

So Lucifer is permanently staying at the hotel. Which means no trouble should come- oh who am I kidding. This guy is going to get captured by fucking Vox. He's just here for the fangirls.

And for the lowbrow drama and high ""stakes"" that'll make said fan girls sob like they're watching the ending of 1917.

Pretty much it seems. Ya know the one thing that made Alastor stick out, that he actually had class and wasn't gonna stoop to swearing. Yaaap..that's out the window.

Yea, they're gonna need to bend like fuckin' Neo to even explain how Lucifer gets taken down a peg by Vox.

Also these teasers give off a weird feeling to me. I don't know how to explain it. It feels... lacking in something but I can't, really determine what that thing is.
They're very poorly edited. You can tell they took different takes and stitched them together to make a complete sentence.
Emily and Sera's clip has a lot of moments like that.

I can relate to what you say. They feel very empty first of all, much noise, little consistency, and they dont spark my interest as well in relation to the story. They are giving me funny high school drama, not hotel in hell.

If anything, these teasers feel lazier since the show is more well established by this point so there's less reason to try and hook new viewers with engaging promos. Either that or Viv's spic heritage is showing through her laziness.

Just noticed in the scene when he's walking away from Lucifer, the black stripe at the bottom of his hair is missing.

Oh boy. I can't wait for all the glorious animation errors in this season.

I call it the "cartoon channel" approach. You know that approach whenever Disney/Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network advertised a special or some event or whatever. That's how it felt. That's how this trailer felt. Just a cartoon channel edit approach. You'd think Ms. Funded-By-Amazon-Itself would've sufficed with better editors that didn't make this clip dump of scenes look like it came straight out of a Disney/Nick/Cartoon advertisement.

That's exactly what Hazbin Hotel became. Darn it, that's what the general Vivzieverse became. A glorified high school musical drama going nowhere and appealing to the common denominator of teenagers and adults who haven't aged past fourteen. Any showcase/teaser of the show feels like this. This is supposed to be a gory, SUPER MATURE, 18+, lewd story set in red California hell? :cringe:

I agree with this a lot. Nothing wrong with a demon character subverting expectations but when you give that said character to someone like Vivziepop or your average anti-Christian Tumblrite, you're not going to get subversion. You're just going to get someone's terribly disguised wet dream of viewing demons as dindu-nuffin cinnamon rolls that should be trusted at all costs. Wake up when I see a demon character that subverts expectations while still BEING a demon and not a Tumblr Sexyman or a cinnamon roll.

It's hard to put into words just how immensely lame Lucifer is in this show.
I guarantee you 9/10 times the average offline person will see this iteration of Lucifer and go “Tf is this? looks faggy as fuck”

The show itself generates great autist milk, partly from people in this very thread who have actual investment. This show in general is best treated like current South Park; a dumpster-fire, but can be interesting to see how awful it gets.

Vivziepop is an SJW retard stereotype that wanted to go against “oppressive Christian values” bestowed upon her when young. Anyone that unironically loves anything she makes, including this show, is Spergy homonculi-spawn

Lucifer when he's fighting with Adam makes it sound like he stole both of his potential wives and fucked them which...yeah, upstanding guy of the century all. Some people say he was only taunting Adam and didn't actually steal both of them, but if he was telling the truth that just means he fucked Eve without any regards to her feelings and just left her afterwards because...asshole. And this was all before he fell to Hell.

There's also a theory that Eve is Roo (or the Root of all Evil) and if that also ends up being true...then this is probably rhe most valid crashout I have ever seen. Her whole body and mind has been corrupted because she ate a piece of fruit that was given to her by A LITERAL ANGEL and everyone has deserted her because of this. No shit, she's going to hate everyone from both Heaven and Hell. It will probably be revealed that she was the mastermind of everything to get Heaven and Hell to start this war with each other.

And no wonder she took Lilith's place. She sees the two people who were the catalyst for all this have a happy family life, something that she was never able to have herself. Of course she's going to try to screw their's over; they already did that to her.
Pretty much. And think about it, Adam got a short end of the stick, getting beat up by Lucifuck and then stabbed by the roach. This may seem odd, but has anyone seen that episode where Princess Mordibucks fights the PPG? She beats Buttercup and Bubbles, yet Blossom gives her a beating? I want Adam to give Lucifer Iori's Maiden Masher on that short bitch. Either that or Michael.
My only interest in the show it to see on what level of John Walker effect Lute will be.
Her and Adam appearing, which will probably be.... 1 episode for a few minutes at best. Then wait for another season. It will take a few years, fellow kiwi.
So, have they just given up on the whole Alastor rarely swearing thing?
