I miss when the sappy love-dovey relationships were considered weird and worthy of mocking. Now suddenly it's the ideal thing in hell? Despite in S1 it being stated multiple times that it's considered odd and even fucking over your partners is normal?

If you mean Fizz and Asmodeus, honestly Stolas and Blitzo are still worse. At least Fizz and Asmodeus are side characters that aren't taking up the entire show with their annoying relationship drama like Stolitz, not to mention its just a typical yaoi pair while Stolitz is just disgusting for the amount of abuse, fucked up power dynamics, and cheating which is all portrayed as good

It's funny because in the Mammon episode, when Ozzie reveals to the entire crowd that he and Fizzaroli are together, the people in the crowds are going on their phones and gushing about it over social media and talking about ship names.

And I'm thinking, okay, I know that's how the FANDOM would react to this, but the people lving in the actual universe shouldn't be acting like fangirls. At least the majority of them shouldn't be.

Not to mention this sappy love-dovey relationship involves embodyment of Lust who's also against rape, so at the end of the day is just really kinky. It's like how Beelzebub wants people to party and drink but if someone is drinking to be self-destructive she suddenly preaches abstinence even if her episode was technically from the first season.

Out of character downgrades from S1 to S2, Ozzie doesn't get talked about enough.

As I said before the worst part about Bee and Ozzie both expressing virtues is they only do this around the main characters but it's fair game when it comes to background sinners and how Ozzie canonically probably had his products sold to sex offenders and rapists.

It's not like an exploitative sex industry is unknown given Verosika and her crew are famous succubi who've been to his club and were doing degenerate shit in the human world and a very public overlord, Valentino, has a porn industry where it's very sleazy (it's unknown if people in the public know he also kills hookers and abuses his agents).

Like it's so clear they're only presented as good guys when the main characters are around which could be fine but Viv wants the audience to also see them as good people.

I've heard Asmodeus threatens his "minions" or something, in a much worse scale compared to Valentino. Fitting, since he's a leader of a ring of hell and the like.
So... he should be rotten, as he's a demon. Why give redeeming qualities like "CONSENT"? At best "Work and you'll survive, follow the rules and same shit". Maybe show that Satan is much worse, because he's abused by the latter, disciplinarily (Flaying? Denailing? Teeth Removal?), which turns him on, but that brings scars too. So we can relate on a surface level.

In what fucking universe is Hannibal Lecter & Dexter Morgan (arguably) are more complex villains than a fucking demon?

I mean, there was at the end of OOPs where once Fizz and Ozzie go home, Ozzie says something along the line that Fizz was never leaving the house alone ever again without Ozzie. And then Fizz looks down.

You think this would be brought up later, but this show is never good at continuity until it's relevant to the plot. Remember at the end of Mastermind, where Blitzø is hailed as a hero for imp-kind but then in the next episode it's never brought up?

I know that the Sam Haft already admitted that they write a lot of songs before writing the actual episodes, but I'm starting to think that this is the case for actual scenes. Like Viv has a really big scene planned out and then episodes are written around that specific scene.

On top of that Verosika and co rape Moxxie in her introduction episode.

Speaking of her, I fully expect Viv to retcon the Succubi/Incubi to just seduce their victims the old fashioned way instead of how it was portrayed in the beach episode as blatantly a form of mind control. This is because she is both safe edgy and we're now supposed to like Verosika and Ozzie.
 
I told someone on twitter that hell is a place for bad people so they called me a christofash and blocked me. Apparently actually knowing Bible stuff makes you a fascist now.

Yeah like god forbid we have bad people in-universe like Stolas and Blitzo, only good people like them while all the evil people are mean to imps and super evil.

Honestly I can understand not wanting to include shit like rape for a YouTube series but I do feel like they should’ve had someone point out that Ozzie sells stuff to rapist (something along the lines of: “Well that’s super funny knowing you who’s mainly buying your products”)

Both the animation and the characters in the pilot were better, Charlie felt more awkward and relatable and her facial expressions were great. I feel like they made her look too..."pretty?" "polished"? in the show? idk.

Edit to add: In the show she's now a sweet, naive, nervous wreck girlboss who needs Vaggie to bring her back to reality. In the pilot she's skeptical of Alastor and calls him "sketchy as fuck" to his face (but knows she could use the help), and she's now somehow more naive about his intentions in the show, it doesn't really make sense.

I know that some people say that the animation in the actual show is much "cleaner" and more "consistent", but the pilot is definitely more expressive and fluid.

And I'd still argue the animation in the show isn't the greatest anyway. There are so many errors, with lines missing, spots being uncolored, and just many other issues. There's the infamous "Vaggie disappearing in the next frame in the first song", but there are also just many scenes where the error can be easily fixed or it took more effort to produce said error.

All they had to do was copy Vaggie from the first shot and place here in the next one. It took more time and effort to redraw here in the exact same pose.
