Isn't this fandom already has a body count? I swear I heard about someone offing himself over some stupid shipping shit.
Yes. I mentioned three people two were chaggie shippers and one was a radiodust shipper known as Shay.

Wasn't Charlie's ex also considered to be based on another ex of Viv's?

The leaks pretty much confirm that, with Lute declaring as so and Abel (along with everyone) giving zero fucks that his father/first man was killed by a sinner.
LoL. In the real world: Adam and Eve suffered, as parents. All because Cain had slain Abel. They took a long time to recover until they were finally able to have Seth, who was the replacement of Abel (even in name meaning).

Meanwhile, fujo story: the first man is a jackass (with a heart of gold), the first woman ate something that basically had a symbiote/parasite in it take over her (while Rosie was in the Garden somehow, probably eating animals and liking their taste). Abel was a faggot, Cain was probably "daddy's boy, not keen on no homos" and that's why he killed sadboy Abel. I wonder how shat over would Seth be? I'd imagine he would be the most masculine of them all, but judging how things are going, probably it'll be Cain.
Respectful = "I fully applaud and support my ex for being a dyke- I mean, bisexual, and I'm so happy she is dating a woman! Also, did anyone know I'm a massive faggot- I mean, bisexual too, and am dating a man?".

Related to the Adam talk but i love how vivzie utterly failed to make people hate him beyond him being an enemy and hurting vagie because otherwise he's just too funny, cool and wasted potential. Her intended delivery also doesn't land as it should.

Like, vivzie really wants you to sell how Adam is so narcissistic he drove his wives away and doesn't even see himself as human anymore by calling others "mortal souls". But vivzie also wnats him to be a lame fatguy who overeats and isn't hot like her other villains. Even his face reveal that is clearly intended to be anti climatic, with him being an average looking brown haired guy with dark circles (shattering the fanon of him being a gorgeous blonde) actually backfired because he stands out for not being a twink and the fandom draws him as a hot goth rockstar.

Even his death to Nifty, clearly meant to be double anticlimatic and pathetic, doesn't land as it should because his final moment is him smiling at Lute and that humanizes him completely.

Really, if she wanted to make Adam hateble, why not make him being very corrupt? Like, he prances about how he hates sinners and despises them all, but then you show scenes of him taking bribes from overlords, how he ain't gonna attack their turf or how he's gonna smite their competition. Show him maybe granting entrance to Heaven to really fucked up individuals for a certain price by messing with their records to make it seem like they're clean; show him how he doesn't value Lute and sees her as easily expendable.

Vivzie was counting on the intro saying "Lilith left because Adam DEMANDED control!" to be more than enough for her fandom to hate him (sexism is more evil than cannibalism according to tumblr), but hindsight makes that sound like unreliable narration.

Adam can't be mean to Lute because their whole deal is the "funny villain duo dynamic" and vivzie can only write tumblr dynamics, not actual nuanced relationships. Even his final smile feels like a different writer idea. It's clear she didn't think he needed much depth at all besides being an evil ex antagonist.

Yet he returns as basically an imaginary friend for Lute. Really feels like Viv doesn't have hopes for V's would be enough to bankroll the entire season (jeez I wonder why), and she needs to yank Adam as a Force Ghost who follows Lute around and gives her directions. Which, REALLY begs the question of what Punished Lute can even achieve, like she's all by herself. I doubt she'll have the support of other Exterminators (as they give the impression of being almost mindless, with Vaggie and Lute only having any form of consciousness because they were like lieutenants or something), so what this bitch just gonna barge in into Hell? Specially when everyone knows you can one tap her ass with a holy weapon? Fuck, this chick cannot even regenerate wounds! So, she ain't gonna be like an Anderson type threat even. An not like she can do Holy Magic

Based on the leaks too it does look like it's confirmed that Lute is in love with him, which makes them both even more humanised. Adam smiled at her as his last action and.....treated her pretty well throughout everything, so I don't doubt it was mutual.

Adam finally having a woman he loves and who matches his attitude/energy literally is the most healthy ship so far. Watch as it's ruined though and Vivzie finds a way to make it just as unhealthy and weird as everything else.

With the Adam talk, I don't think he's meant to be hated but rather seen as this cool villain because Vivzie hyped the shit out of him prior to the show coming out, the choice of Voice Actor, having way too many comedic moments, and that smile which she actively chose to focus on.

It's in the same way she treats Andre and Mammon as goofy funny villains who are still cool compared to like Valentino and Stella who harm and hurt the gay boys.

Though it does backfire still since Adam is disliked for how he swears all the time and being another "Heaven bad" villain that's pretty common. For me it backfires a little when his boss who Vivzie keeps trying to present as morally grey is a massive idiot we're meant to feel bad for. Whereas Adam in comparison is a goofy fun villain who isn't really calling the shots compared to his dumb boss.

It has been talked many times but it bears repeating how little the Vees really have any reason to give a shit about the hotel or anyone there:
  • Vox has an autistic obsession with Alastor despite the fact that he has been shown to be nothing but a fraud and any other overlord worth a damn just ignores him. The only real reason why Vox would give him any time of his day is because Viv wanted his shipping bait.
  • Valentino has Angel Dust, but really him staying in the hotel doesn't affect him in any meaningful way maybe if like Vox he had an unhealthy obsession towards him for whatever reason but so far he hasn't show that he gives a shit as long as AD shows up for recording (almost like if that's his job!). Other way would be him fearing that Charlie could find a way to make their contract null, too bad that she's not smart enough for that and was a total pushover when they first met.
  • Velvette, zero, not even the slight hint that she's against anyone in the hotel. Conflict wise she's a black hole devoid of any excuse to care about any of this.
So yeah, it all falls back to punished Lute and tulpa Adam to carry the season, again.

I don't even get why. Valentino in the show states that Vox is still pissed because Alastor ALMOST beats him. Dude literally doesn't best ANYONE in this show, hes an absolute joke.

Eh, I'd argue that Viv also treats Valentino as a goofy villain at times. She really seems to dig the relationship of Vox and Val as this odd power couple, and even gives Val some surprising human traits like how he gave Fat Nuggets (Angel Dust's pet pig) as a present to Angel Dust, and that he enjoys painting. Meanwhile, Stella is just a one-note hate sink that only exists for the audience to feel sorry for Stolas.

Now, you may wonder, why is that? Compared to Valentino, Stella is obviously the much better person. Is it because she's a woman? Well...yes. Valentino also has another thing going for him as he is some form of gay, so you can get with all the fujo-shippers. While Stella is actively getting in the way of a fujo-ship, which makes her even worse than just being a female.

I mean Stella also acts pretty goofy when she is treated like an absolute moron just like Val and while Val does have the fujo stuff with Vox, he does have more moments where he is treating Angel Dust like shit and causing angst for another ship (HuskerDust).

Either way it shows that Viv really needs to not make every bad guy a goofy character, like it is funny that the most intimidating villain in both her shows is John Waters

Didn't Stella's or Octavia's VA make a post way back that Stella is actually a decent mom to Octavia? I remember seeing that.

I cannot help but get the feeling that the stuff with Vox was like a carry on from the older scripts/ideas, where Alastor was actually perceived as a huge threat to Vox. But, since old Alastor stuff got tossed into the bin and we got poser boy here, it really does feel jarring and doesn't really connect.
