Didn't Stella's or Octavia's VA make a post way back that Stella is actually a decent mom to Octavia? I remember seeing that.
Even if it's true, I'm not a fan of VA's stating what's canon while the series doesn't show it, this happened in Volume 7 of RWBY, when the Tranny VA mention how the character "she" voiced was also a tranny, but if you watched volume 7 you won't know that fact.

I don't even get why. Valentino in the show states that Vox is still pissed because Alastor ALMOST beats him. Dude literally doesn't best ANYONE in this show, hes an absolute joke.
Because it's ship baiting, "Vox is obsessed with Alastor because he's secretly in love with him uwu"

I'm still of the opinion that instead of Vees being the main antagonists of S2, it should have instead been Overlords in general, even if the Vees were the main focus of them, and I'll share some ideas regarding how and why this would happen.

Two world shattering events terrify every Overlord as soon as word reaches Hell, Sir Pentious being redeemed and the announcement that the exterminations will cease. The reason this causes Overlords so much worry is that A.) This will inevitably drastically increase the popularity of the Hotel, potentially giving people whose souls are owned by Overlords a way out of their contracts, and B.) The exterminations are actually a boon to Overlords, because it was the biggest reason people end up selling their souls to Overlords in the first place, since it would provide the promise of shelter and small degree of protection during an Extermination since being caught outside during one is a total death sentence.

Even someone like Carmillia is displeased at the exterminations ending, since she gave a massive amount of her stockpile to the Hotel for the battle, and most of that stockpile ended up either destroyed or on the streets outside of her control, and with now her source of supply is threatened to be permenantly cutoff.

One of the major themes with Hazbin is that Hell is other people and the Overlords would be shown to be the poster child of this issue, because being an Overlord and having even basic morals except for pragmatic reasons goes together like oil and water, in Overlord politics you either leave your empathy and morality behind or you inevitably have those morals and empathy used against you within a couple years and end up dead.

It would also work as a curveball to the audience, we're led to believe we can trust Carmillia and by extension Zestial in S1, but when their power and status is at all threatened they prove just as deprived as the Vees are portrayed and eagerly join a plot against the Hotel.

I don't know anything about Hazbin Hotel because I never watched it, but the moment I saw some scenes... Holy shit, those people who made the "written by VivziePop" memes were not exaggerating. It really is a 1:1 demonstration.

I feel like we're all forgetting the best part: This one is SUPPOSED to be a Vivzie self-insert and she still uses it as an icon. That's a lot more damning than all the others.
I always found it funny she chose this character, an absolute asshole bureaucratic fuck, as a pfp.

Carmilla and her business really bothers me for world building. In the Overlord meeting, she expresses concern about the population going down much more this past extermination. But at the same time, she sells angelic weapons to the people of Hell.

I've been questioning her PFP choice for years. Wouldn't one of her many male gay twink demons be more appropriate?
I think all of the characters Viv has voiced in the show will fit as her pfp - they’re all either fat, arrogant, or reek of furry cringe.
There are people who would gladly have sex with Viv if she asked them. Just look at her fanatics on Twitter and Tumblr.

I mean Stella also acts pretty goofy when she is treated like an absolute moron just like Val and while Val does have the fujo stuff with Vox, he does have more moments where he is treating Angel Dust like shit and causing angst for another ship (HuskerDust).

Either way it shows that Viv really needs to not make every bad guy a goofy character, like it is funny that the most intimidating villain in both her shows is John Waters

LoL I didn't know one of Brandon Rogers' exes were in the show. I'm sure he looks as lovable as he is on the inside.

Kidding aside, I have no idea who is John Waters, probably Roger Waters' cousin or some shit. Is he an unhinged fucktard? I saw pages ago he's some big guy in the movie industry and thus he's probably the biggest WAOW guy to be voicing the Rolando guy. So I don't know, really.

Please for the love of god tell me you're joking about not knowing who John Waters is and assuming he's there due to connections with Brandon

And don't forget to smile~

To be fair I haven't. He's sort of a Broadway star and is in plays I guess I don't like musicals, so I've never heard of him either

I said I was joking. But like I said, he's some movie personality or something, like someone said on the thread, but I never paid attention to that.

Time for another thought-provoking question:

So I can understand why maybe most angels, like Winners, wouldn't know about the yearly exterminations. But why do none of the other seraphim know? I can get Emily not knowing since she is the youngest seraphim and maybe the exterminations started before she came into existence. But the other seraphim have been there since the beginning.

And in the leaked episode of season 2, we see that she still doesn't discuss with the other seraphim about what to do next regarding the exterminations; she talks with Abel and St. Peter.

Were the seraphim even in either court scene? Have they fucked off completely after Lucifer's fall? Are they only going to appear and matter in S3 or S4 and cause more egregious plotholes like the Speaker of God did?

Abel I get being there, since he's the leader of the exorcists now (Hurray for nepotism), but what the fuck is Peter there for? They don't know what gets someone into Heaven in the first place and Pentious bypassed the gate and got dropped right in front of Sera and Emily.

My point is why wouldn't Sera want to discuss this with the other seraphim? I think they would have a much better insight on what to do next then nice-guy Abel and door-manager Peter.

The way Sera talks in both S1 and the upcoming S2 that she has all this burden to bear and that she's the only one who can make the decision. But that's obviously not the case because we have the other seraphim. There are angels in the court room that seem to be of high standing as well. So why not get all of them together in a meeting to discuss on what Heaven should do next.

Yeah, she may still be the one to have the final say in this matter but at least she could get some well-meaning opinion and advice from them. Maybe one of them could have reminded her that she could put a barrier around the entirety of Heaven that would prevent people coming in and out without being heavily vetted first. Then maybe the exterminations wouldn't have even happened in it first place because they know that no one would be able to enter into Heaven without their permission.
