How does one have debt when they never put money in to begin with? Hayden was working off volunteers, mostly, or people desperate to get some shit to put on a resume.
Hayden may not have put much money into Gen Sped, but that's because he was broke to begin with.
All the businesses he owned ended up being suspended because he didn't pay his taxes- he needed a middleman to form the Gen Zed production company.
He supposedly abondoned his career as a TV exec to become an Internet comedian.
Back in 2010, he already admitted he was in debt up to his eyeballs, but he said he counted on the strong branding of his shows to land him corporate partnerships and $$$.
Considering all of his shows were either stillborn or only had a few episodes, you can guess how well that went.
I get the impression he thinks 3D will somehow make this easier=shittier. This is either a delay tactic or the worst idea ever. Given that this is Hayden it's no surprise it can be both simultaneously.
He probably bowed under pressure from Hayden or quit. This guy was working alone and that's already a huge undertaking in the world of animation.
I'm 99% sure their original animator has quit- we haven't seen so much as a doodle from him in months.
But the lolcow tranny game dev who serves as their 3D animator is still there- and now Hayden will rely on her to animate the whole thing, much like he did the previous guy.
How long until she quits too, I wonder?
PS: Today, it has been a whole month since Julie last tweeted anyting about Gen Zed. Someone ask her if she's given up on being the FIRST EVER trans lead in an animated series
