He may very well have been making it up. The name "Hayden Black" does not go with the phrase, "actually pay someone and get work done".

On the topic of empty promises, I'm noticing a trend with career cows, namely that everything is coming "soon". Revolution 60 is going to be released "soon". Gen Zed will be available "soon". People who are capable of delivering have a plan, and thus, a date.

Hmm, I can't find his name anywhere on Rip Media's site, and it's a damn good site. I did find this:

While I understand companies have multiple people with the same title, this Warren guy seems to be the most important one.

Re: Animation studios.

Hayden lives on technicalities. He tries to wriggle through the slightest gaps in the English language to make a claim. Let's not forget that technically Terra Snover is the head of an "animation studio", known as Overzealous Studios. Snover is a real go-getter, which is admirable, but when it comes to her comic, Mock Girl... well...

And that's after Niceguy Eddie's interview with Hayden and Snover. The interview was kind of funny in that Snover did kind of have to remind Hayden that transmen aren't mythical creatures (Yes, I listened to it. You're welcome Mr. Cabot).

Doesn't seem like the five million viewers helped.

Do we have confirmation that Bradley jumped ship? I'm tempted to write him and ask outright.

He can't be getting loans from friends because I can't imagine that a guy like him has friends. Wait, do unpaid employees count as "friends"? Because I wouldn't put it past him to bum money off his employees, "Just until the show actually goes on the air" and hope that sunk cost fallacy will get them to fall for it.

I don't think he's going to recover from Gen Zed. He's sunk such a large amount of time and money (though not enough effort) into such a colossal fuckup. At the rate the release date is being pushed back, I doubt we'll see any more of Gen Zed than the animatic from last September.

Not impressive Julie. You at most spent one fucking day in Hayden's living room talking into a ghetto headset. Unless he actually tried being professional and was looking for quality, and I know he didn't, what happened what you gawargled out your lines for each episode within 5 minutes at most and likely finished each episode in the blink of an eye.

I'd know because powerlevel reasons.
 
Random thought: I love how, of all things, Hayden thinks that the Shona character will be an effective comedienne. Like, when you're writing characters that have interests that aren't yours or talents that you don't possess, usually research is enough to fill in the gaps and present a convincing character. But, like, the one thing you arguably cannot do that with is comedy, because it requires being able to write comedy. So, like, the thing Hayden is worst at is the very thing he chose his LEAD character to be good at/want to do. He could have chosen anything else for Shona and it'd be more convincing.
 
Maybe all Hayden needs is a little competition, he might not have much money left but if someone were to make a "First trans leading character/voice actor" series maybe it would fire him up enough to try and get it out faster. Just a thought, because by the time they get Gen Zed out no one's gonna care.
