She gets up to stretch, sees him reaching over his desk (even if he didn't shock her then and it was just the vibrate setting, she's been conditioned to expect a shock from him reaching like that) then immediately gets back onto the bed while continuing to look at him and only settles back down onto the bed once his hand is returned back from whatever he was reaching (sorry, stretching) towards.

There's no urgency here. It's a relaxed sit down. The dog shows no reaction to stimulus. It's just a normal repositioning. Can you not read canine body language?

Truth be told it looked like a perfect use of a training collar. The real problem is he's training his dog to sit motionless on a dog bed so it can be a prop for his streams.

The biggest issue for me is he isn't training it to do anything but be a prop lol, let the dog roam free. It's fine he wants to sit for hours at a time but not letting the dog leave is strange.

Listen to how he said "protesting" while reaching over, glancing towards the dog, and as the dog returns to the platform. That is the same exact weird kiddy way he said "oh mah gawwwddd kyyyLLAAA staawwppp".

Does he do that inflection a lot? If not, that's some creepy serial killer thing he does when abusing lower creatures, always that childish voice.

I mean, talking to a dog like it's a child is an extremely normal thing to do. But I agree that it's obviously indicative of his state of mind that he says "pro-test-ing" in this clipped way with an annoyed inflection, like a mother might say "Go-to-your-room". Either he's doing that intentionally to convey his annoyance to Kaya or unintentionally letting his irritation carry over into his unrelated sentence.

But it’s clear he muted the audio. It goes to dead silent and no background noise for a split second while you see his mouth still moving. He either muted it to yell place at the dog, yell the dogs name, or to hide her reaction to a shock. You can hear the clear audio cutout.

As far as it being muted, no, it doesn't appear that way in the slightest. There's no sound for a second because he notices she's getting up and changes his mental focus to looking for the remote. But he resumes talking right at the moment when he uses it. It's when he says "that are" that he grabs it and Kaya begins moving back onto her mat. Also, the audio is slightly desynced and behind the video.

Seriously, there are smart, easy ways to make money if you want your pet to be used as a prop but not abuse it. An example; a stream gimmick where, for a certain window of time during the day, a vote-via-dono is cast for what treats and tricks to do. Guarantees your viewership (who eat this sort of thing up) tunes in consistently at a predictible time. Not that Hasan needs more money, but it's not rocket science.

As for the vibe collar cope, I can see him going for it and trying to spin it that way, revealing it's a vibrating collar and """always""' has been. Though I think (like every stupid lie he comes up with) he'll come up with it days too late and make himself look even more a fool.

Shock collars are very bad in all situations because the dog can't understand them. Dogs react to body language, tone of voices, the situation they're in and even smell changes from you. Picking up a remote and randomly shocking them just confuses them. There's no feedback in any of the ways dogs have been bred to understand. There's easy ways to control a dog that's misbehaving that they understand. Each dog will respond differently to different negative feed back. Some react well to voice, some react well to putting your hand on them and some just need a single look of disapproval. All of these things work with a dog's bred instincts and mental ability.

You can teach a dog by randomly zapping it but all it does is breed anxiety and mental health problems. It doesn't understand why it got zapped or what caused it to be hurt. So they become nervous and unwilling to move because God randomly smites them until they figure out the exact boundary. Which they won't do because it's painful and scary.

The only exception to shock collars is if they prevent a dog running into the road and being hit by a car. But if that happens something went wildly wrong with the dog and the collar is part of that failure not a solution. The dog and owner needed training and didn't get it.

This is the behavior of an animal that is expecting a negative reaction to doing something innocuous, and it's farcical to have a cognitive dissonance that the spot training is cruel but also that hasan isn't/hasn't actively been negatively reinforcing "if you move off the bed I'll reach over here and you'll be sorry".
When you use negative reinforcement to condition an animal to expect pain or discomfort when they do something you don't want, sometimes just waving the proverbial loaded gun is enough for them to stop the behavior. It's a continuing abuse of the poor dog and I don't see why you would acknowledge the conditions he keeps her in are bad but also give him the benefit of the doubt, like "sure he might be keeping her in a perpetual state of discomfort but at least she's not yelping in pain when he does so!".

As a reminder, in the Shocktober 7th click Kaya immediately headed back for the bed as soon as she saw Hasan reach for the remote, he shocked her while she was getting back on the bed, just like in this current clip. She has clearly been conditioned to expect punishment for taking even one step off the bed, I think that Hasan usually uses a lower shock setting or the vibration setting (at least on stream) and she decided it was worth it to stretch for a second or two (sort of like when you injure a joint and it hurts to extend it, but sometimes the need to stretch outweighs the fear of the pain, so you stretch it anyway), but in Shocktober he accidentally pressed the wrong button or turned the dial up to high. If he did actually cut off the prongs before the incident then that could actually explain it too, the collar wouldn't lose the ability to shock, just the ability to deliver a consistent shock so he might have turned it higher, and on the seventh it happened to be making fuller contact with her skin than usual (maybe it wore away enough fur underneath it since he clearly keeps it on too tight).

The dog doesn't react in any way. Even if you just tap a dog on the back it will look at it.

If you don't regularly tap your dog on the back it doesn't know how to respond so it responds the way anyone does when they receive a new stimuli, they investigate the source. If you do regularly tap your dog on the back that tells the dog that you are there and probably want their attention, so they look at you because that's a reasonable response to the stimuli.

If instead you trained your dog that if you tap it on the back it needs to run to the corner immediately or else you'll smack it then it will run to the corner, no need to investigate and risk being smacked, just hurry on over there.

She has been conditioned and it's cruel. But in this clip she's not in any distress or had any signs of punishment. She's not expressing any negative influence on her.

Dogs are very reactive and look at things that touch them. Any dog being shocked or vibrated is going to turn to try and look at it or attempt to run from the cause of pain then turn back to see.
