the difference is, you probably also taught your dogs to not pull on their leash and praised them when they behaved correctly. Hasan doesn't strike me as someone who praises or encourages their dogs for positive or correct reactions to training. I can accept that different training tools can be used without them being abusive, I don't inherently see prong collars as something negative unlike shock collars because the dog is "in control", the key issue is that the handler is aware of when their tools are used improperly.Holy shit, I thought that the concerns about the prong collar were overblown, but that’s bad. I’ve used many prong collars and never have I seen anything like that, if your dog really is pulling hard enough to injure itself with the prong collar then it’s clearly not working and you need to find other, more humane ways to handle it because at that point you’re just punishing the dog for the sake of punishing it.
