This is outrageous, over here they'd shut down the entire plant and start blowing the fuck out of middle management over something like that happening. Don't you have a safety officer on site?>Working cold storage
>Company doesn't provide me with new cold gear
Yeah, Im pretty sure companies break the law left and right and you got normal people like me or anyone else that cant really sue or do anything cause like, where the fuck do you even start? This is outrageous, over here they'd shut down the entire plant and start blowing the fuck out of middle management over something like that happening. Don't you have a safety officer on site?
I get that not everyone's about socialism but why do Americans hate even the most basic worker protections so much?
I believe that it's draining, no shit. But so is any regular job, except you can't do it in the comfort of your home and schedule it as you wish, and the return is far less than it is in their case.Hasan responds to the viral clip

i would almost sympathize with streamers if they understood that compared to regular jobs, this is fucking nothing to them. all you have to do is sit there, eat takeout, mumble a few words, talk about how society is crumbling, read donations for a couple of hours. oh no asmon, please tell me about how hard it is while wiping your tears away with $100 bills. if this is some gay attempt at making me feel bad for them, it's not working
Man, even if I had no idea whatsoever who Sam Hyde was, this clip alone would make him a hero to me.
Over here if you tell the safety officer you saw somebody welding without a mask for a few seconds they'll start the fucking Spanish Inquisition over it. Y'all really need to unionise your shops. Cold storage work isn't a joke, you can lose fingers and ears doing that shit.Yeah, Im pretty sure companies break the law left and right and you got normal people like me or anyone else that cant really sue or do anything cause like, where the fuck do you even start?
PLing, but I used to work in a hospital. I've had several people walk out after their first week, some after their first days, and one after 1/2 shift. Streaming is nothing compared to that, at least physically.
It helps the vtubers that can manage to do that are normaly working for a company and have both a manager and a tard wrangler.but how is it that most vtubers are able to stay apolitical/on topic, stream for about 1-4 hrs, and not show active content for their fellow man, but breadtubers/breadstreamers can't?
Breadtubers are leftist/progressive/communist by nature, politics isn't just something they talk about, it's literally part of their brand. So they're political by nature, and they need to play the in-group/out-group game and lay into those right-wing chuds; on top of leftism not really being about personal responsibility, temperance, or discipline, so they can sperg about whatever they want, and since they're the high and mighty streamer, their word is law.I know I'm bringing up more cringe, but how is it that most vtubers are able to stay apolitical/on topic, stream for about 1-4 hrs, and not show active content for their fellow man, but breadtubers/breadstreamers can't?
this is just called being bored with a job, no shit. it happens to everyone. the difference is most people just have to keep going because not working means you will become homeless. and THAT is truly soul crushing, to have no escape from the misery of working a job you hate.A rare instance where I kinda agree with succesful streamers. Setting aside how soul crushing some jobs can be, streaming is just another one. Many streamer's success depends on giving the audience what it wants. Success then is derived from consistently providing something similar to last time. And that is fine as long as you enjoy providing that. But every streamer will run i to the point where they don't enjoy providing a specific thing and it's a hard to balance to manage.
I remember people saying about Sargon that all he would have to do is talk about news articles and collect the money. But there came a time when he didn't have the passion for it anymore and it killed him to do it.
If this isn't a LARP you start by calling a local employment law lawyer until you find one willing to work on contingency fee basis and then suing the company doing that to you. You will likely take them to the cleaners if you do it properly despite America being ancapistan.Yeah, Im pretty sure companies break the law left and right and you got normal people like me or anyone else that cant really sue or do anything cause like, where the fuck do you even start?
It doesn't really matter how financially secure your job is, your perceived status among your family and friends is still going to be in relation to them. There's nothing inherently respectable by being a streamer, same as other intrinsically non-value giving pursuits such as sports, so the only respect can come from being one of the best at it, or making a lot of money with it. He stops making money with it, he loses status for the people around him.this is just called being bored with a job, no shit. it happens to everyone. the difference is most people just have to keep going for the money and THAT is truly soul crushing, to have no escape from the misery of working a job you hate.
he could literally just quit and retire. he could quit for 3 years and then stage some comeback tour with daddy’s money. The point is he is completely financially stable for LIFE, and so if he keeps doing it it’s because he wants the extra money.
Complaining that you have to keep doing something for the money when what you do is extremely easy and the money is so incredibly high is just totally inexcusable, not just when you’re talking the sort of politics these streamers are, but also when you’re an entertainer period. Their entire existence is subsidized by the people keeping the lights on, pumping gas, maintaining a collective 24/7 on the world. streamers should hang, or at least just hasan piker
athletes train their bodies doing grueling exercise sometimes for 8-12 hours daily, follow a strict diet that most people who hate to have for a single day, and usually started as kids so goodbye having a normal childhood. even actors and shit have to work on their skills because being good looking and well connected isn’t enough to be an actual hit in the acting world.same as other intrinsically non-value giving pursuits such as sports,
this is nonsense, “your percieved status” being relative has nothing to do with it. the guy is rich and famous regardless of if another braindead la influencer gets a better Porsche than he does one day.It doesn't really matter how financially secure your job is, your perceived status among your family and friends is still going to be in relation to them
No,no,no. He was streaming charity events. So his viewers donated all the money you see people talking about not he himself. He "donates in private".Oh wow, he donated maybe half a million to charities that are politically aligned with him, out of his yearly income of several millions.
Good for him, I guess? So donating to charity means nobody should criticise him now? Maybe the churches and Koch Brothers can take some notes from that dimwitted argument.
