Yeah, Im pretty sure companies break the law left and right and you got normal people like me or anyone else that cant really sue or do anything cause like, where the fuck do you even start?

I want to see Hasan Piker do atleast 6 months to a year in a warehouse or factory before he tries to say his job is difficult. Hell, even working a grocery store is more difficult than what he does.

I believe that it's draining, no shit. But so is any regular job, except you can't do it in the comfort of your home and schedule it as you wish, and the return is far less than it is in their case.
To be fair to Asmon, he consistently said that he doesn't feel sorry for streamers or for himself, straight up saying they have it better than most. Both things can be true at once.

PLing, but I used to work in a hospital. I've had several people walk out after their first week, some after their first days, and one after 1/2 shift. Streaming is nothing compared to that, at least physically.


I know I'm bringing up more cringe, but how is it that most vtubers are able to stay apolitical/on topic, stream for about 1-4 hrs, and not show active content for their fellow man, but breadtubers/breadstreamers can't?

Breadtubers are leftist/progressive/communist by nature, politics isn't just something they talk about, it's literally part of their brand. So they're political by nature, and they need to play the in-group/out-group game and lay into those right-wing chuds; on top of leftism not really being about personal responsibility, temperance, or discipline, so they can sperg about whatever they want, and since they're the high and mighty streamer, their word is law.

If this isn't a LARP you start by calling a local employment law lawyer until you find one willing to work on contingency fee basis and then suing the company doing that to you. You will likely take them to the cleaners if you do it properly despite America being ancapistan.

It doesn't really matter how financially secure your job is, your perceived status among your family and friends is still going to be in relation to them. There's nothing inherently respectable by being a streamer, same as other intrinsically non-value giving pursuits such as sports, so the only respect can come from being one of the best at it, or making a lot of money with it. He stops making money with it, he loses status for the people around him.

Streaming is a great way to make you hate your life, yourself, and video games. Thus far no 9-5 job managed to accomplish that, and that includes one which required waking up at 4 AM, 4 hours of daily transit and gave me back injury due to herniated discs. He might be a limpwristed faggot cakeboy, but in this very specific case, he's sort of right.

athletes train their bodies doing grueling exercise sometimes for 8-12 hours daily, follow a strict diet that most people who hate to have for a single day, and usually started as kids so goodbye having a normal childhood. even actors and shit have to work on their skills because being good looking and well connected isn’t enough to be an actual hit in the acting world.
being a streamer(or influencer/eceleb) is literally the easiest, most no skill job in the entire world. even e-sports people have to be actually good at the game, i imagine these people just play random stuff that’s made for normies and not csgo russians. and then say some stuff half-remembered from an introductory sociology course
