Don't be so autistic. I even said why I was comparing it to sports. Because it's non-value producing. 99.9% of people that play the sports give nothing of value to other people. It's only the absolute top that manages to do so by raising cancer awareness or entertaining the masses. You know what it is also hard? Fasting. The people that destroy themselves with anorexia. Just because something is hard doesn't mean you're providing value to other people which was the only comparison I was using it for.

Being a streamer is hard because you have to deal with people who try to misinterpret what people say all day and you have to adhere to all the memes that hang around your particular stream sphere, which in the case of Hasan is dealing with retarded commies that think working any job is the hardest thing in the world. And you have to pretend that engaging with that average retard is fun. It's like any showbiz job in that sense. So yeah, he broke the golden rule with his pity party.

When Asmon was talking bout this he was called out by a chat saying it was easy he demanded they prove it.

Turns out the person saying it was was easy was in fact a very small sucsessful streamer with a retained audiance.

The goalposts then shifted to ‘well Hasan is way bigger than you clearly you don’t put in the same effort’. Which no shit. But that’s besides the point.

Fact is it’s piss easy the second you get a sub base as long as you care enough to keep it.

Most people don’t care. That’s why they fail.

To be fair, this depends on the job and your circumstances while streaming. A real job will pay you regularly and in a stable way. With streaming your income isn't really guaranteed a lot of the time, unless you famous.

Hasan, however, is not in such a position to complain. He's at a point where he makes mad shekels even if the amount ain't always stable.

If we're being real though I'd much rather work in a galvo plant or plastics factory for the award wage than stream online pandering to insufferable parasocial simps for the exact same amount of money. The thing is, Hasan is a fucking millionaire and only streamers are brainbroken and clout-dependent enough to keep working a job they claim to hate when they're millionaires and could retire any time they want.

One of the common accusations people have made about Hasan is that he is a trust fund baby and has no idea what real life is like. The only other job he ever had was working a fake BS reporter job for his uncle and he fucked that up in short order.

He doesn't want to quit streaming because it would become incredibly obvious that the only thing he is good at is panhandling on the internet.

Seriously, where is he going to work? He is a walking HR nightmare, he has zero worth ethic, and he doesn't even have basic life skills. He can't even cook his own food. When his mother dies, Hasan is going to starve to death on his livestream.

I mean, I’m not dismissing your sentiment. I’m a factory worker. The closest I ever got to the other side, being an influencer, was 2,000 Twitter followers, at which time I kind of freaked out about it because I actually don’t like even that smallish amount of attention.

So there’s something to say about how maybe in a factory, you’re selling your back, but to grift off social media, you sell your soul. Even as pathetic as 2,000 followers was, you could feel pressure to restate things in a way that wasn’t really saying what you mean

Gotta pass the time somehow. People get depressed if they feel unproductive for extended periods of time even if they're materially secure. If Hasan didn't stream or debatebro and didn't have any other kind of planned "work" he'd probably be way more miserable.

Twitter has actually become increasingly based since Elon bought it IMO. And I’m not an Elon fanboy. I hated Twitter since its inception. Even in 2007 I could sense the proto-soyboys infesting the site. Never made an account. Knew it would destroy the internet I knew and loved.
