Last time I was on 4chan I was playing animal crossing with anons. I think they do that on reddit, too. But on twitter they kill eachother for the best villagers.

Dug a little deeper on the above, this seems to be a pattern with Hasan: he pledges more than he actually donates.

Here's a clip showing how much he owes a relief fund for Ukraine, and here's the actual fundraiser showing he only donated 10k. (filter by Top donors)

Anyone know how many fundraisers he's done in the past and to what causes? I'm betting we'll see a clear pattern where the dude will pledge a higher number for the publicity of it, but ultimately end up donating only a portion of it.

Warehouse work isn't what I would call easy and fun if you're in a place that has you move 24-7 like Amazon. Even the logistics part of the warehouse can be a pain in the ass.

I want to preface this by saying I have never been a streamer. However, my 9-5 in IT requires me to interface with people maybe 15% of my time. A streamer literally has to be at least mildly interesting the entire 8 hours. That does seem harder. I could be wrong, but at least in my job if I'm stuck the whole eight hours i'd rather have the downtime while waiting for the computer to do stuff.

You're assuming Hasan tries to be interesting. Screaming and yelling your political views at "debaters" who call in, screaming and yelling your political views in general, and watching YouTube akin to how you'd do it to unwind (while eating, or just silently watching) isn't being interesting.

I made an account just to share my thoughts on this. Maybe someone already shared this take but a quick skim through replies didn't show anything. Hopefully you all don't mind the lengthiness of this sperging:
I share the same opinion as most people here: to compare streaming as a job being taxing compared to actual blue-collar work is retarded. But I'd like to point out something. Streaming on Twitch is easy; anyone can do it. But if you're starting from nothing, have no help and you want to make a living off of it, it's actually really, really difficult to do that, especially since you have to compete with thousands of other wannabe streamers. The average Twitch streamer has a whopping 27.7 views per stream. For every Hasan out there who has it all in terms of viewership numbers, there are at least a thousand more people on Twitch that struggle to have even 50 people watching them.

Someone who wants to make it big on Twitch, if they're not pivoting from YouTube fame or something like that and they aren't a female with big tits or a cute anime avatar, will undoubtedly have to be on the grind: they'll need to stream for as long as possible, except unlike Hasan they aren't showered with money in the process. They will likely spend hundreds upon hundreds of hours streaming to a small audience as they attempt to build up their fanbase. They'll also likely need to spend time learning how to be entertaining live, crafting their own style of content and establishing their own niche. And even if they do all that, they'll still need to wait for that one lucky moment, the one clip that makes it big and introduces people to them. Some streamers probably will never get that moment. Others might get that moment but then they're forgotten, for one reason or another. Not to mention, of course, that any games, equipment and whatever streaming expenses you may have will have to be covered one way or another. For those who don't have a rich family member, that means they'll likely have to have an actual job.

So why am I saying all this? It's because it illustrates how Hasan is a hypocrite even among the (")peers(") in his (")profession("), let alone actual blue-collar work. Hasan didn't start from nothing. He didn't have to spend countless hours building his audience and perfecting his craft. He never had a moment where there was literally no one watching him broadcast, he never had to work a side job before he became successful. Hasan got everything from his family connections, he started out with viewer numbers that wannabe streamers would kill for. And he still has the gall to claim he's an oppressed proletariat. He couldn't be more wrong. Even in terms of being a Twitch streamer, Hasan Piker is a bona-fide bourgeoisie.
TL;DR: Hasan is a Twitch bougie and I would not have sex with him.
 
I think the interesting part about this entire drama to me is that it could easily have been avoided if Hasan wasn't a mush brained frat bro. I could 100% see streaming being taxing on "muh mentals" because humans are not mentally used to being the dancing monkey for 15k live viewers. If he simply said that streaming was "extremely socially taxing" instead of "the hardest job out there" he would have avoided almost all criticism. But instead he walks into rakes because he is a retarded nepo baby.
