"The Left" as a whole has become clown shoes. They're a living parody, and they only get more pathetic and ridiculous the more extreme they are. I have my doubts about Hasan actually being a radical Leftard. I think secretly he's more moderate, just your typical Dem voter, but he caters to radicals Leftards because it's how he makes his fortune. But in that capacity, he has become a figurehead for that element. Imagine, back in the day the Left had groups like the Weathermen and Baader-Meinhof. Now, the Left are Antifa and anti-ICE rioters mindlessly throwing public tantrums over things they're too poorly informed to understand. They are obese women with Skittles hair, twiggy men with no muscle mass, or tranny freaks showing how incompetent they are with public displays of stupidity, like CHOP/CHAZ. Been meaning to make a masterpost about this for a little while:
Hasan has been in hot water for the past two or so weeks because he stated that he would vote third party if Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, won the Democratic nomination in 2028.
This is because Hasan views Gavin Newsom not as too far left (as most of the population would), but too "far right". Hasan's immediate counter to this was to call the person who posted the clip a pedophile.

Hasan and every online tankie's foundational myth is that the Democratic Party is ACKSHUALLY "center right" while the Republicans are far-right, and Bernie Sanders is the center.

First off, great post, thanks for putting everything together. I said in an earlier post that Hasan has to be controlled opposition, and that kind of ties into this.
Even taking into account how completely retarded he is, even ignoring how he's not a socialist (duh), you would think that anyone that has amassed millions upon millions of dollars off of grifting would not need to rely on an outrage loop to stay afloat and would even decide that shedding some of his most extreme viewers and simps would do him well long term, by just saying "I back the dems blue no matter who etc". And that's ignoring how there would also be an outrage loop for him if the dems were in office also, of course, because they would "betray their base" (see Zohran). Isn't his whole schtick "we have to play the politics game"? For context, Cuba is currently going through a humanitarian crisis where there's a shortage of everything from oil to food. The unanimous tankie response to this is to blame the US government for daring to refuse to trade with a hostile nation, meanwhile the reality is more that Cuba's current totalitarian government has been generationally incompetent at resource management.
Immediately after this, Hasan hopped on stream with Liz Oliva Fernandez, a Cuban "journalist" who had nothing but positive things to say about the Regime!
And of course, this "journalist" repeats the Cuban government's narrative that El Bloqueo (the US government's trade embargo against Cuba) is responsible for all of the suffering and that the Cuban government bears absolutely no blame for the energy crisis, famine, etc.
Tankies' direct translation of El Bloqueo as "Blockade" is really clever wordplay, it makes it sound as if the US literally has warships stationed outside of Cuba's borders keeping all outside resources from coming in (y'know, like a naval blockade). Rather than just a general trade ban (and not even a complete one, the US contributes a lot to Cuba's food and medicine via loopholes). Cuba can and does still trade with other countries like China, Spain, the UK and Canada, yet somehow their survival is contingent upon the mercy of capitalist pigdog United States.
Also, isn't it kind of odd how Hasan Piker seems to only run into journalists who have no criticisms whatsoever about each and every communist/socialist country's government despite repeated evidence of totalitarianism?

For Hasan, it doesn't matter how many people living in these countries have to suffer under oppressive, authoritarian rule, all that matters is that he gets to larp as a Fidelista, or dress up in a Mao Suit and imagine himself as a Red Guard revolutionary on the internet.
Hasan can literally only exist in a capitalist society. He has no skills that would actually contribute to a communist or socialist society. He's lived his entire life in wealth and extravagance, wearing designer clothes and eating more overpriced Los Angeles takeout than any of the proles in his target audience could ever dream of.
Back when Hasan was doing Leftovers with Ethan Klein, he allowed for a bit of nuance despite him holding the tankie position that everyone who left was a slave-driving plantation owner.
However now, after 5 years of partisan brainrot, Hasan takes the very existence of critics of a communist regime as an insult. Him and his audience are so far gone that they literally can't comprehend that people would genuinely take issue with a communist government, that's why Camila and every other "Miami Cuban" offends him so much. They're living proof of the failure of totalitarian socialism, which runs contrary to the narratives that he is literally paid to push.
There's no way they hate Saint Fidel of Castro or their government because it's oppressive and incompetent, they must be brainrotted, or brainwashed by the CIA!
Unlike Camila, Hasan has no personal investment in anything beyond his bottom line, and what makes Hasan money is carrying water and spreading propaganda for brutal regimes, as long as they're anti-American.

Can you blame him? He is the premier leftist influencer and he has politics that make even him look right-wing! He helped turn a generation of leftists into advocates for things no one sane could vote for! He is giving every reasonable person to the GOP! I do think that Bernie is close to assuming that Hasan is a plant from the right to destabilize the left and make it impossible for the average person to vote for them.
