I think it is a combination of every controversy he had this year PLUS finding out that for all his Communist LARP, he still is not popular in China. At least not as much as Asmongold.

Want me to break down why?

1) Asmongold makes normal commentary and pop culture content while Hasan makes divisive content that only few people like.

2) Asmongold has confidence. He will actually look up hair-loss prevention products on stream. Hasan is insecure. Bruise his ego once and he will mald for months at a time.

3) Living conditions. Asmongold is rich but never shows off. He lives in a big but unremarkable (if dirty) house. Hasan shows off. Rolexes, decorations that make the place look like Las Vegas, expensive clothes etc etc.

4) Asmongold has normal political opinions. Hasan is a Champagne Socialist that advocates violence. That grift does not fly on China. There are two kinds of Chinese: Those that suffer under Communism and those that are rich because they let others suffer under Communism. Neither actually likes Communism and thus Hasan is unbearable to both.

There, I broke down why Asmongold is popular in China and Hasan is not.

Bold of you to assume that he'd be able to play games. I imagine it would be like the Flashgitz video where Kai Cenat dies in Elden Ring for stupid reasons so many times that the boss is driven insane by the experience, except that Hasan's character would look like an A. Wyatt Mann caricature of a Turkroach instead of looking like a Tyrone meme.

I'm a bit doubtful, simply because the fag has shown little-to-no interest in gaming. On top of which, if you look at the popular game streamers (whether V-tuber or not), about 80% of it is their reaction. Whether it be someone like Russianbadger or Heavenlyfather or Darksydephil or Bricky or Zentreya or Matara or Ama Lee or whoever the fuck else you can think of, much of the fun within the stream is their reactions within the games, reactions to the chat stream, or reactions to the other people they're playing the game with.
This faggot would not be all that interesting to watch droning on about capitalism (if at all) while playing Elden Ring or Fortnite or whatever is the newest friendslop game or something.

His charisma is not enough to compete on that field. He is also not funny. If he were to play, he would get frustrated all the time and upon every setback, he would rage. Ugly/sad rage, not funny rage.

True, he is not the kind that plays well. He could pivot to relaxed games but those demand a pleasant and funny personality. If he plays a RPG, he would always talk politics and try to interpret everything through political mindsets.

To be fair, tons of women have a tiny square of runescape in the corner of their stream as they jiggle their tits. I was mostly thinking in terms of ranting without having that 'very Destiny like' stream layout. Pure text and doomscrolling xitter.

Dunno what my point is, just seems like it'd be smart to at least not straight up read walls of articles on repeat.
