The website has more information. Most of the side characters seem like generic gta online NPCs and random niggers, story doesn't look all that interesting. Jason and lucias character dynamic looks like it will be generic hugs and kisses with some betrayal at the end that's it

I'm glad this trailer reaffirmed that Jason and Lucia are co-protagonists and Jason isn't a side character like early info suggested. Though I won't be surprised if he ends up dying half way through the game to give Lucia a tragic motivation for revenge. There's no way a Bonnie and Clyde story is going to end happily.
 
People are expecting this to be the greatest thing that's ever been released in any medium but it's literally just going to be a slightly more advanced GTA V. Like what are they going to do with the formula that's any different than IV or V? It's just annoying main characters driving around a giant, empty map shooting civilians and cops and getting into hijinks. I legitimately don't understand how people still get so hyped for these games. It'd be way more interesting to me for Rockstar to do a completely different genre of game, which they've proved they can do very well with the RDR games but I guess they're just gonna continue milking this cash cow for eternity.
 
Man rewatching the trailer, there are an insane amount of shots of Lucia's ass everywhere. I noticed it in that one specific scene originally but the rest of the trailer is practically fixated on itin between scenes of Jason and Lucia fucking. Is the industry healing itself?

Are we finally back to the days where studios like Bioware could show gratuitous ass shots of characters like Miranda in M-Rated games like Mass Effect without anyone giving a damn? Polygon is dead, Kotaku is on the verge of death, are we returning to the non-annoying days of gaming?

There might be a slight bump for a couple years but this path of destruction of the entire industry is inevitable. Everything looks the same. Everything has ugly people, fags and niggers and it's never going away.

People tend to forget that those that made Rockstar what it is, are long gone. GTA has been shit since post anything San Andreas anyway.

Isn't what we want though? Gta is a powerful fantasy, and that's the only thing it matters.

Gta v online is amazing for that, there's so much fucking content is overwhelming, and people just resort to do massive pvp battles just because.

Gta vi will probably follow the same formula of unbridled chaos.

honestly I can see the argument that GTA was delayed due to the global Anti-Woke backlash, but I don't see it being completely vaccumed out within a year, no fucking way if you know a shred of Game Development works

If they made an actual crime simulator where there was structured activity to do on the map (even if that's something like selling dope or robbing stores) I'd be far more interested. Most people don't care, and fair enough; some games do rely on the player bringing their own creativity/kid-with-a-toybox mentality. I'm not one of those.

GTA V had a little of that, sort of, but not the kinds of stuff I actually want.

I think GTA San Andreas was a far superior game to its sequels.
 
They are marketing the game for women. Romance, ken doll man, and badass chica poc yass queen character. My girlfriend saw the trailer and said she is now interested in GTA when she never was before. This is their plan. Pivot to the girl market and ruin it like sports and superheroes.

If it was a white blonde woman shaking her ass the trailer would explode with popularity. Marvel rivals is doing well for a reason. Hope to see more of the nice gal in the USA bikini from the first trailer.
