Cuphead works fine on my laptop. But yeah I'd recommend Fallout 1 and 2, or anything from GOG

I played a lot of Super Meat Boy on a 2008-2009 Core2Duo laptop with whatever Intel IGP was around back then, so it works even though Flash sucks ass.
I had an i7 with a Radeon GPU, and it ran like dogshit. I don't know where Radeon rates on the scale for GPUs, I know it's low, but that was probably the reason.

Rimworld is a bit pricy, but I'd say it's likely worth it. The mods for it really make it an incredible game. If you're shopping on Steam, I'd say you should keep it on your wishlist and wait for it to get hit with a sale again.

Thea 2 is a game you might like as well I'm just not 100% sure your laptop can run it.
  • OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
  • Processor: Dual Core 2.2 GHz or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: DirectX 11 class GPU with 2GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 10 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Sound Device
  • Additional Notes: Internet Access needed for coop
It's mostly text and still images, so if it can run it at all, it can run it. I mainly bring it up because it's on sale right now for like 12.50 USD.
I can look into it, but i'm gonna try and get Rimworld when its on sale next

It's a damn good game. I'd say it's better in terms of quality than 99% of the triple A games. Make sure to check out the mods for it too. You need the Harmony mod to make most of the older mods compatible with the newer version just as a heads up.

Radeon is a broad range like GeForce but even the worst would have been better than any 2009 Intel IGP. Could be that Super Meat Boy behaves erratic or that the mobile Radeon drivers were shit which is a very real possibility. The SMB system requirements from 2010 only says "Graphics Card made within the last 4 years (Pixel Shader 3.0, Vertex Shader 3.0)", so if it is Vista certified it should run it.

it also depends on the generation of your mobile CPU too(if you are talking about laptops) until 8th gen, i7 ULV cpus are just 2c/4t processors, while i5 ULV are just 2c/2t. it was the threat of Ryzen 2000 mobile cpus that made intel have their i7 ULV have 4c/8t.

if your laptop is before 8th gen intel ULV, then its most likely the cpu's fault.

No because I got a replacement AMD CPU, it was definitely the GPU's fault.

The NOLF games are pretty alright.
The first No One Lives Forever is GOTY of the year material and still better than a lot of modern FPS games.

The second is pretty alright. Definitely get them @ee.zdoom.

Consider Civ IV and The Sims 2. And if you are mildly technically savvy you should be able to get Red Alert 2 +Yuri's Revenge working.

Oh. Also SWAT 4 and FEAR. I have gotten both of these running on a figurative taco.

I can't believe Noone has mentioned Diablo II yet.
Download the glidewrapper if you want full screen and some old school hack n slash.

rimworld looks pretty cool but its hella pricy
snd i was gonna get 112 operator during the steam sale but i didnt. i will def try and get it sinc my laptop can run it ;)
pricey?

no comprende

Rimworld can be pretty CPU intensive as well. I have it modded to hell and can have raids of 30+ attack though, havnt played vanilla in a while.

OSRS will run in browser and its a decent MMO.

Bluestacks and emulate android games.

try emulation for the 8bit and 16 bit gen consoles, got 13gb free so you will have a ton of space for lots of those with most games being a few MBs, could also try ps1 and maybe psp emulation at native res, but could be more hit and miss.

Quality game. Throw Sengoku Rance on that pile. And the first Monster Girl Quest.
Real talk though Raidy has some really interesting puzzles and mazes. I accidentally got ahold of it when I was a kid and it opened my eyes up to how a fantasy dungeon could be designed.
