my laptop is an utter piece of shit, it has horrid specs
8gb ram
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7Y54 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.61 GHz
13.0gb free space
anyone know any games i can run? my computer can survive running a FEW games, but others just kill it.
good games for bad laptops lets go.

Roguelikes. You can run those on just about anything, and there are some really good ones.

Ace of Spades
I've wasted hundreds of hours on this piece of shit, it's great. You can choose between 3 different clients:
Voxlap - the original client, software rendering - looks like shit and runs on everything;
OpenSpades - best looking and still works well on Intel HD Graphics;
BetterSpades - feels like voxlap but is GPU accelerated, kinda buggy atm

What kind of games do you even like? There's a ton of games that will run on low spec rigs.

really any games honestly
You might check out 112 operator. It can run on pretty low-end computers. Rimworld is another game that will run on really low specs. In general from what I've seen, most games with 2d graphics can run on damn near any modern computer.

These are the requirements for Rimworld posted on Steam.
  • OS: Windows 7
  • Processor: Core 2 Duo
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: DirectX 11+
  • Storage: 500 MB available space

Binding of Isaac, Super meat boy, emulators and rom packs, Slay the Spire, FTL ( faster than light). Just to name a few.

Stardew Valley
If you like Sims games a complete Sims 3 is easy enough to find
I'm very opposed to giving Randy Pitchford money at any turn but the original and remastered Homeworld are real good too

Those are just things that immediately come to mind
