Holy shit I had forgotten about Dinner Dash and Avenue Flo. I loved them, and I loved playing similar games of restaurant management. Nowadays you can download hundreds of them to your phone, but they're not the same. And they all ask you to pay extra shekels if you want to play a complete game.
I also remember a game similar to Cooking Mama, but it was for PC and made by an american company. I don't remember the name but it was about travelling to different american cities and cooking the typical dishes of each place.

I think that was the Hot Dish series! That was pretty good for what it was back in the day tbh.
I loved how the dash series was always intertwined tbh. Dress shop, Pet shop, Wedding, Doggie, Fitness, Soap opera etc were part of a shared universe and it was super cute.
Still to this day i'm looking for a link to Once upon a diner, I never got to play that since I was a MAC kid and it was a PC exclusive.

Flo was a very talented lady. I never heard of Once upon a diner, I know a website where you could download it (pirated) but it's only in Spanish.

I got a ton of the games from an abandonware website (sadly I don't know if they update anymore) but I mean I can't read a lick of Spanish but I can manage if you want to slide it by?
Dress Shop Hop I downloaded was in Spanish too but it worked pretty fine tbh.

Which is odd because it has tons of obscure point-and-click games.

Like point and click adventures, or hidden object ones?
In terms of "girly games" love and death bitten was a HUGE one for me. I always wished they made a sequel.
There was some other hidden object I remember as a kid, it dealt with some exploration? You were a stage hand and people kept getting murdered or something. Maybe it doesn't fall under girly but hidden object games usually are in the women demographic sooo? 🤷‍♀️

Another mention to family restaurant and spa dash. Gamesgames was a good site I played growing up, wish there was still a way to buy games from them tbh.

I loved those ones, I believe they're targeted at women. The hidden objects games about murders and detectives were my favorite. I remember a couple of them, like Women's Murder Club, Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie's stories. And there was one in particular about a lady who gets kidnapped by a psycho and you (the lady) have to find the way of escaping. I don't remember the name but it was pretty cool

I miss the OG Diner Dash games, the demos let you play a decent amount. I only ever bought one of the mobile ones (I think the airplane one?) but they were fun ways to kill time.

There is a place called oldgamesdownload which has a bulk of the games. Abandonware and archive.org have a few as well but oldgamesdownload has the biggest library

As far as I know (and forgive the spurging i'm just in love with these games since I grew up with them)
Old Games Download (these are all free to download and safe AFAIK when I downloaded them and scanned them, however there were graphic issues and crashes in windows 10 btw so be weary)

When downloading games from sites like that it is wise to drop the main exectutable(like "Wadding Dash 2.exe") into VirusTotal.com and see what comes up. (there will always be a couple of false positives, but if the majority agrees that there is a trojan or virus in it then it's probably true)
 
I'm a big fan of the Myst and Riven games. They've ages well and are still a couple of visually stunning games with some great logic puzzles. The story in both is really captivating as well.

Gorogoa is another visually pleasing puzzle game. I played it on Switch but it's available on Steam as well.
 
Out of curiosity I ran Yang from Piofiore through the Gavin de Becker and Associates Risk Evaluation Test for domestic violence like someone did for Christian Grey one time and Yang scored a 167 out of 200 with a risk factor of 8 out of 10 it might be different when I play the sequel when it comes out in English or the postgame short stories but he scored higher than Christian Grey who scored 154 but also had a risk factor of 8 out of 10 when Gehayi of Das Sporking did it. I also just finished Orlocks route and it was pretty solid

I like autistic dress up games, one of my favorite sites is azalea dolls, the exclusive games are simple but have nice art and cute themes.

I once tried to play love/shining nikki, the clothes were cute and all, but there was too much fucking dialogue so I uninstalled it 10 minutes later because i'm an impatient idiot.

Dress up games are an autistic guilty pleasure of mine too. Azalea's are definitely some of the best ones out there, but her recent games have much more limited options in comparison to her old ones, which is a shame. Maybe she's getting tired of putting all that effort in. I know Rinmaru officially retired from making games a year or so ago because she just grew out of it (which is completely understandable but also a big RIP because hers were good too).
