To this day they didn't release any of her constellations, plus her weapon (and I think a glider) is only usable on PS if memory serves. I daresay even Hydro Traveller is a better 5s than Aloy.
Aloy at least does cryo damage with normals, generates 5 particles at once, has a cheap burst, a and 5* ascension (28% cryo dmg). Her hunting passive was exclusive for a while and genuinely good for capturing birds. She is still awful sure but at least she can use xinqiu, battery with sac, hold noblese and or melt her burst. Constelations could've made her less worse too.
Hydro traveler on the other hand is genuinely a throw pick. I actually gave mine a set and she is actively detrimental in every scenario. She can't normal attack, generate energy at once or apply decent hydro. I glanced the kqm guide and it says hydro traveler is very flexible because they're so unnecessary it's going to the rest of the team carrying anyway. It's so bad paimon.moe doesnt even have him.
And now for more lieaks, Skirk is allegedly going to be Freeze locked and have no off field utility, which is the opposite of what i wanted.

skirkover because i'm not rolling for a 5* that works in one comp like nilou (at least she changed the reaction entirely). Chevruse really was a mistake because now hoyo thinks releasing one OP support and dps is what it takes to save a bad reaction. This game is becoming star rail where now you need to have a locked specific team that ignores all mechanics and bruteforces.
If someone rolled varesa here please tell me how fun, strong, flexible she is and how many comps she can do because now i think i'll go for her and try to get iansan too.
