The tribe nine character buffs were revealed to be extremely minor and what i assume are meant to be AI improvements. These 2 characters had terrible slow attacks with zero reason to use them, so the devs buffed a bit so they're not troll attacks and you can dodge cancel from them now. They're still unoptimal attacks but the AI can use them without dying now. A third character only got ai changes.
Kinda underwhelming but probably better for now, the worst units are still viable but could use a little fixes. Its just the top tiers have some broken OP ultimates like the devs barely tested them. Either way the game isn't "competitive" anymore because they pretty much removed the hardest super bosses into completely optional content with no reward besides a medal.
This kinda murders the original "brutalness" the game originally marketed itself and will upset the more hardcore players but tbh, i'm mostly for the story and vibes with fun combat so not having a crippling stressful endgame is GOOD.
Devs are selling skins for money (pallete swaps still obtainable from boxes) and shitty bundles so they can make money and god, i hope they do. They're also giving +10 rolls over the week for logging and +10 as thanks for steam reviews becoming very positive and i hope this gets more people in the game.
btw genshin beta v4 released with no changes and its hitting people that Ifa will likely be the worst unit in natlan and potentially one of the worsts in the game.
(They nerfed the damage from his C6 too, as if his damage wasn't already shit)
as for the event quest, hoyo really needs to reign it in, the quest should've ended right after final cutscene, with the inn etc. being optional instead of "oh btw there's more busywork after the climax of the story". also fuck that limited runtime, there's literally no reason having it run longer.
I lost one of the event bows cause i took a break and didn't realize that event only lasted literally 10 days from the start of the patch. It's like they do it out of spite.
Also probably unpopular opinion but I wish they'd stop with the POV changes. They could just have those moments be cutscenes.
I'm not sure it's that unpopular anymore, it was cute the first time to see what dan heng was doing in luofu but it was already bad by aventurine, raiden and robin/sunday spamming flashbacks. I can't imagine if it got worse in the new planet.
