I had completely forgotten that this entire thing started with The Herta. The sudden POV change to her threw me for a loop. And it was just another cliffhanger. Same with the March thing.


ANYWAY FINALLY FUCKING DONE. Goddamn, what a...thing. I have mid opinions on it. Castorice moments were nice though it sort of felt like Firefly pseudo-romance done better. I didn't need that. Or maybe my paranoia about harem shit in WuWa has just made me overly trigger-happy.

I want to kick Anaxas in the fucking nuts. He got on my nerves at the end so the game just deleted him for me.

Still gonna pull for him because I am in severe lack of Erudition people but he's Wind Sunday to me. An annoying cunt that functions well.

Of course, as proven with Tingyun, that bitch ain't dead until they are dead DEAD. He's gonna come back no doubt, same with Trianne.

The latter kinda disappoints me a little because I feel as if it's a cop-out. I can excuse Tingyun but idk what they are gonna do here.

Oh well, only time will tell. I will admit I am genuinely interested in the March subplot but I swear if this is some kind of cop-out like that one quest where everyone is like "No you don't need to know your past, fool" or she's just a plot device for completely unrelated reasons.

Also, I should try to figure out how that fits in timeline-wise since the train got blown the fuck to bits from orbit.

Tighnari was a good idea at the time, he's the first standard banner archer and dendro. A simple ranged dps that is easy to build and play, was always kinda mid but has decent cons and very strong c6. Losing 50/50 to him isn't so bad.

Dehya on the other hand was a second pyro claymore and sent a die. Then we went ALL of fontaine with no new standard banner 5* units (i theorize sigewinne was originally going to be a standard 5*). And then Mizuki releases and she's our second anemo healer who is worse than Sayu and Jean. No one asked for this.

So yeah maybe standard banner is designed as shit unit prison and 50/50 loss rage now. We'll probably get another cryo healer worse than qiqi before we get a spear or geo.

And unrelated but lol, star rail is becoming worse than one piece with this many fake outs deaths. It's funny to remember penacony and realize robin, aventurine, sunday, sparkle and firefly all "died". You can say it's dreamland sure but then Luofu had multiples too (tingyun, blade, jiaoqiu). It's impossible to take any death cliffhanger seriously in this game.

I did not know she was a standard banner character until reading this. Do they really just hate newbies that much? Imagine pulling and getting her, only to find out she's unusable until you get to Inazuma.

It's funny you mention Penacony because I think they happily killed off both Gallagher and Misha. For real.

Anywwy going back to Mizuki. I'm doing her character quest because why the fuck not. Is my game glitchy, is it intentional or do the two ladies in the bathhouse have the weirdest physics?

Purple girl's kimono ribbons seem to randomly twirl all over the place, even clipping through her and pink girl's ponytail rotates on her head like a windmill. The fuck?

Edit: it's always been fascinating to me how 3.x added speed boost to make you run around faster with how much open blank space the areas have.

They were never technically alive in the first place. Misha is just a weird dream message that had delusions of being a real boy, while Gallagher was created by the History Fictionologists in order to fuck with things.

Yeah, that's a unity engine bug that's been around since 2016. There was another instance in an earlier patch where another NPCs cape went nuts while they were on screen

In Sayu's defense, she's a surprisingly decent 4* and great exploration unit, i prefer using her over jean on my neuvi/furina team, but she was powercrept hard by modern sustains.

Mizuki on the other hand is weirdly similar (skill enter states that does swirls, ult summons a thing that heals until 70% or swirls) but worse. She doesn't even heal the full team at once (sayu is low but does) and she can't heal above 70% until C4 which is retaaaaarded.

A lot in penacony are technically memetic entities, aka "dream beings" that only exist in the subcouncious and not real life, like clockie, the birds and Black Swan. One could argue they are still sentient and for all intents and purposes "alive".

I would count misha and galagher as true death but the fact that they're 4* males with unusual designs doesn't help hoyo beat the allegations. Call me when hoyo has the balls to kill a 5* waifu forever.

Had this happen during mavuika's quest and made it completely impossible to take seriously.


edit: Tribe nine had issues with google playstore and are extending the maintenance until tomorrow. And just when i woke up early today to play the new chapter RIP

edit2: Actually nice of them to explain why it got delayed, some other games wouldn't say anything lol.

Did they pull a Black Beacon by giving 30 rolls and have the code expire in 2 days? Or, having a 5 hour maintenance and just give some common currency and mats and have them expire soon after it was completed?

I took your advice and went for Shorekeeper when I noticed she had a banner that started today. I kid you not, I got Shorekeeper on the first single I did and then her weapon on the first multi roll on the weapon banner. I've literally never been this lucky in a gacha before, thank you for the blessings.

But given how unhinged CN gachafags can be....

If memory serves, Girls Frontline actually had the balls to do it multiple times, including turning one of their waifus into a major villain.

I dont know what they'll do for compensation but the devs are very transparent so i expect an answer today and something that won't be timegated or thrash. Even 3-5 rolls would be fine for me but they might give 10 or more.

They even said the steam and IOS update will end in 12 hours but the google store will be longer, presumably due to google login issues or adding new stuff to the shop (they're selling skins and bundles now).

Tbh this fucking SUCKS (this releases right when i go to sleep) but their fast response and honesty makes it harder to be upset.

It's funny cause honkai 3 has a major character die very early on (HI3 Himeko) and stay dead making the story look high stakes but then the only units that die later are virtual simulations or alternate world versions or they get thrown in some kind of "limbo" until they are resurrected. Not surprising star rail isn't that different.
