the melusines are pretty chill, most of the time it could be a human NPC and it would make no difference. even the ones during their questline are mostly "quirky" due to their different perception/customs and can be ignored.By the end of Sumeru, I was sick to death of tiny, floating chuunibyou creatures babbling at me about complete nonsense I don't give a rat's ass about. The Aranara were insufferable, Sorush was insufferable, and the genie was funny at first but got old in a hurry. Imagine my horror when I rounded a corner looking for treasure and got dragged into a world quest about a little oceanid who talks like Fischl and wants me to fight a dragon or some shit. Mihoyo really needs a new thing.
I'm sitting on like 5 rolls till guarantee for like 2 patches now, lol. was tempted to grab magic boi so I could slowly build pity again till we get the wave of waifus while maybe get a new 4* and maybe an early 5*, but with navia possibly going standard.... banner is over anyway, so that takes care of that.I guess I need better RNG with with loading screen tooltip, because my wishes aren't doing great either. Only hard pity these days and more losing 50/50. At least having a guarantee now.
I usually don't leakers that serious since things can and often will change anyway, but mihoyo had no issue being retarded and fucking up a fan-favorite character to the point of dropping her into standard, which is missing a geo unit for 3 years now... just something I try to be aware of.
reminds me of a discussion I had a few days back how hard mihoyo might push the dark/light stuff in the abyss (where it would be real PITA), thus making fontaine characters mandatory (which would only be worth till natlan released), but since they put the blocks in the event anyway, I assume that's the way they're going with. still an advantage to have fontaine chars so you don't have to worry about grabbing those, but not absolute requirement. would also mean they don't have to put arkhe-stuff on non-fontaine characters so it keeps fitting the lore. That seems interesting, MHY may or may not be adding non-Fontaine characters but with arkhe element in their kit. May or may not be apply to leak character Chiori, if she ever gets released.
I just take my c1r1 yae with nahida and john lee in there, with whatever flex unit that still needs the friendship exp (was a real pain in the ass when I wanted to level that on 3 at once).Fontaine domains so far.
It's kinda mixed bag in my case. Like my special effects vomiting team (hyperbloom and burgeon, Barbara-Dehya-Nahida-Kuki), brain dead big damage and comfy play don't really get wrecked. While if I use like Freminet in hyperbloom(Offield hydro-Nahida-Kuki), not exactly going faster either, can go a bit slower and noticeably worse if I mess up rotation.
Arkhe is there to disable big damage attack and/or super shield. The stun window from arkhe maybe too low? But that "may be fixed" with more Fontaine characters release in future, so you can have more in a team to deal with the effect. Though, that depends on what MHY do to persuade people off Dendro meta.
the biggest issue I've seen so far with the arkhe stuff is that some enemies need 2-3 hits of it AND it has it's own cooldown, which is explained in a way that makes hardly any sense - just check the hydro MC elemental skill, there is no fucking "interval" since the arkhe hits once at the end, same for lynette, unless they mean takes some time to refresh. furina and other 5* might have a lower one, but it would still mean you'd need several fontaine chars at once to deal with it quick, which would mean you need even more per side. furina can also probably do both going by her eyes, but still....
