Noice ideas. How about Earth and Dendro to immobilize enemies (spawn some vines to hold the them) or ground flying enemies. I hate those water birds and flying insect thingies.

Mobilize can be pretty useless on some enemies (mainly bosses), also a nightmare for players. A slow debuff will be a better alternative.

I haven't really followed the Tectone/Enviosity drama that closely, but Enviosity seems like he could be another Boogie/Wings/Phil type of personality mixed with Onision. He makes DSP look thick-skinned.

From what I can tell they're the top 2 Twitch streamers, Tectone said he wants to have more followers, subs, and do better streams because he wants to be the best streamer, Envi said competition is toxic and is passive-aggressive for a while. Tectone does a game show to help smaller streamers reach a wider audience, Enviosity has a mental breakdown on stream and starts leaking DMs because he wasn't invited as he was already successful.

From what I can tell a lot of Envi's statements were demonstrably false to the point of chat/comments providing receipts to contradictory statements. Him saying Tectone didn't ask if he's ok and someone posting clips of Tectone asking if he's ok from months ago for example. Or just stuff that contradicted the leaked dms.

His wife also posted this as a response to his breakdown, so Envi thought of killing himself over this?

Damn this is some cringe. Only thing I knew about Envi was that he runs a F2P team to help gauge if Mihoyo is bringing in too much power creep. Tectone's vids are annoying to me but I just don't enjoy that style of overreaction and I haven't seen him act directly shitty towards anyone, so this seems like a huge overreaction.

Streaming culture is so fucking broken though. There's a grown man dry heaving into a mic and the chat's trying to spam good vibes his way when he clearly can't comprehend what's going on. Christ, give the dude some space and just log-off. It's already humiliating having an episode online, you aren't helping by overwhelming his frazzled brain with more stimuli.

1. We know Yoimiya and Ayaka are both on the beta atm, they have never tested a unit early and when there is a rerun going on there isn't a unit present to be tested. Thats how we knew Childe would run with Venti. Its also usually pretty easy to predict who the rerun is because they run an event or quest with them centered around the character like they did with both Venti and Klee, and then Zhongli got the introduction of his boss. Childe is the exception, but he ran with Rosaria. Both waifus being tested means they will run in 1.7.

I know, but like I said it was considering the anniversary and how it'd affect the usual release strategy
moot point now anyway with the official announcement, and with all the chars they dumped on us I'd be surprised to see a re-run anytime soon (most likely to sell the furry 4*)

2. The big reason chasm matters at all is that its heavily linked to the dendro characters. Baizhu, the pharmacy guy that Qiqi "works" for had a storyline that disappeared centered around there and he was the first 5 star dendro character. The whole thing disappeared though which is why dendro is completely up in the air and a bit confusing. So, chasm matters because dendro has to be released at some point.

The thing though is that we do know when things get moved around before it really does. The only change that I think happened super late on the beta was the big changes to Zhongli, which happened around a week before he dropped and remain the most confusing thing this company has done which is saying something.

yeah that's why I mentioned chasm. wouldn't even be surprised if they silently drop dendro for good, they'd have to balance it with all current and soon released chars. but then sumeru has the dendro archon, so who the fuck knows at that point - they certainly have enough money at this point to hire some poor souls to run all those numbers...

I can't see them dropping Dendro, if anything when it gets added it will probably be for a significant version change. I can see it being the same thing with Dainsleif with him being a special or neutral element.

I have a feeling we'll get a new weapon type before we get dendro. It could be cool if it will be some trick weapons with multiple forms.
Also new artifact set is tailor made for Xingqiu.

Nobody told me there was more shit happening event wise in the fucking archipelago and I haven't played in a while so now I gotta rush shit more or less when I get the energy and time in a few hours or so. Friends that I mentioned earlier that rarely ever do co-op with my ass or world exploration/plot shit actually keep up on the events and watch those announcement stream things I never know are coming up and am never assed to watch afterwards because they tend to go like "oh you DIDN"T KnoW!?" Shits frustrating cause when there's shit they miss I point it out to them several times before a thing ends and actively end up helping them through it when they inevitably end up stalling till last minute on something that gives a reward they want. Also missed klee rerun so my klee is still bottom tier while a friend that does jack shit somehow now has a 3 star constellation Klee. Stings like hell.

No, he's not a whale but he does spend cash on the fucking game. I mentioned him in a prior post, he's the one that intially streamed the game to me and got mad when I kept calling klee "mario" lmao.

there are some dendro chars tho, doubt they'll miss out on the klee/fujo money with yaoyao and baizhou. but yeah, that's one way they could do it and wouldn't even need to make much sense, there are still plenty of electro chars running around while baal stopped handing them out and now actively recollects them (which apparently has been going on for so long that everybody knows it, yet it would mean fischl/razor/kek got their vision as kids)
like you said with the clusterfuck to balance it and chars being untouchable only other way to balance it is nerf dendro hard. but then how sell dendro chars?
