So with the recent WuWa leaks, the fujos over at r/WuWaHusbandos have gone a little doolaly. It's been a constant stream of coping and seething because people are freaking out about the Cantarella leaks because NO HUSBANDOS and KURO IS APPEALING TO INCELS

Okay so in all honesty, I would love more playable dudes in WuWa and I don't like the harem angle with some of the characters. And idgaf about Cantarella. I do like the gameplay and some of the characters so an abundance of females in comparison to males isn't going to make or break me so long as they don't outright stop releasing male characters entirely. And I doubt they are going to do that.

But these people are going balls to the walls with the entitlement and the seething without consideration that Kuro, like MHY, is a Chinese company so they are going to appeal to the Chinese player base first. It's where most of the money is made. They aren't going to care about what a bunch of fujos in the West screaming on Reddit have to say.

This is also happening in Genshin from the same people, you can click through anyone angry about Varesa on reddit and find them to be frequent posters on the Husbando subs too.

Yeah that’s what gets me, I’m all for having criticism for genshin/wuwa and shit but when it comes to big game companies they’ll mostly focus on the group that gives them the most money into their pockets (iirc the west isn’t that big of money contributors on the list for mihoyo,, hence why the boycotts they did failed so many times and other factors).

And while i do agree that no matter where you from all sides of the genshin fanbase are just batshit insane but it’s somewhat telling how they parade themselves as some “saviors” that protect the pwoor minorities uwu yet be racist under the reviews section

In regards to fujos, it's the exact same jargon as gaming journos complaining about good-looking women and women showing skin while pretending it's for the greater good of all womenkind and not just internalized covert sexism. No they're not, the CN players if anything just care about not getting cucked by their favorite waifus, or units they like being too weak (Zhongli) or nerfed (Neuvilette).
Most of the lolcows you can see in this thread are from the west, not realizing that China doesn't give a fuck about representation and just want characters that looks good.

God this reminds me of when the 'boycott' was first starting and they used other Chinese games as proof that if other companies can why not mihoyo. Which is a decent talking point but the thing is it’s that they never actually put in the work for it so you really do just have to ask them “Well okay does this mean you will quit playing mihoyoverse games and support those games instead” and half of the time they never do and continue playing but what did I expect when your trying to boycott a gambling addiction
