Missed the first match, my brother in law just told me what happened, usually Roman doesn’t get beat up that hard in segments, guess they are writing him off for the street fighter movie and WWE wanted to get Codys scenes done first as he is the Champion but damn Breakker is a future star, Reed also has potential too after that

Meanwhile even Dave himself the literal dude who has used the demo cope to justify AEW’s shit ratings even said that Demos don’t matter before he did a 180 once AEW’s ratings went to shit.

See things like this is why it's crazy to me that the anti AEW and anti modern wrestling crew focus so hard on ratings as was discussed in this thread yesterday, the stations wrestling is on regardless of company seem pretty damn happy with their ratings, they could so easily just say no we just won't have collision that week, but they want as much AEW as they can get because AEW at least on Wednesday is often number one on all of TV.

Ratings are largely talked about because 1) we aren't privy to AEW's financials so there aren't a lot of metrics to go off of beyond ticket sales and ratings and 2) the Snowman and his ballwashers like Meltzer make a big deal about it.

I don't think anyone here really gives a shit about ratings outside of dunking on Tony for when he says stupid shit or when autists bring up press releases and argue in autistic detail about ratings in this thread.

from 2019 to 2023, the Shills never shut-up about ratings and then when punk left and the no milly memes started running roughshot over them they stopped, when the stick they made was used to beat them.

Ratings are fucking stupid, mostly cause of how people consume stuff now so they are nearly dead and will change depending on how streaming goes.
 
Cena vs Logan is the weirdest match all year and nothing is even close. They have repeatedly redone spots, not botched them, just done them then a few minutes later done them again then in between that they've done every move they can think of from other people. Cena did a tornado DDT, Angels Wings, there's been a Cesaro uppercut a Zig Zag, two buckshot lariats one countered in to Baron Corbin's end of days and now Logan is doing the 5 moves. What the fuck.

CENA WINS - of all the wwe matches to enter my top matches of the year list I didn't think it would be this one but dammit I really enjoyed that.

Lance isn't right all the time but he's right about insufferable Eurocuck fucktard marks are who don't shut the fuck up during a match. You're not contributing to the show you're just making noise for the sake of making it take a lesson from the Japanese crowds they actually show patients and give props when due.
