The problem with that is that now WWE's programming is constantly being bidded on by people who want their content on their services. And as a business why would you turn down that kind of money? The only way the WWE network will come back is if WWE is dogshit for an at least 15 year period to the point that no one wants to host their shows. And I'm not saying "my favorite star isn't in the main event" dogshit, I mean literally unwatchable by all metrics.
Say what you will about HHH, but his approach to bringing in popular overseas talent was a solid one. Bring them in, put them on NXT for a smaller audience that will no doubt be more familiar with them due to being younger and more involved with the IWC, let them get more comfortable with WWE's match format while also allowing casual fans to become more aware of them through product osmosis, then, by the time they hit the main roster, there's enough people in the audience who know who they are.
WWE has giant corporations fighting with each other to give them absurd amounts of money for content. $500 million per year from Netflix for Raw in the U.S. and international everything. $320 million per year from ESPN for U.S. PLE rights. $287 million per year from NBC for SmackDown in the U.S.. As convenient as a new WWE Network would be, it's simply not an option anymore because it wouldn't make them nearly as much money. I don't think it ever turned a profit for WWE until maybe the last year it was around. The network got taken for granted and now this is the consequence.

as a WWE fan this is definitely an understandable criticism, in terms of post-Summerslam until a few weeks before the Rumble its been like this for awhile, even before HHH took over, id like to see more intresting shit come out of those months, I still have a difficult time with understanding why they'd fear the NFL season so much, theres probably some cross-over but not that much
this, its definintely bad angle shots some people do when people talk shit about her appearence, she's still at least an 8 in terms of attractiveness for now (im only a year younger then her so I can't talk too much shit in regards to her walling)
This, starting next year im just going to switch my NordVPN to Canada and sign up for Netflix there, theres not really anyway WWE could stop it even if they wanted to (which I doubt they really care a minority of us fans are tech literate), theres just no way to justify paying $30 a month just to watch the PLEs, even though they are mostly good, its just too much for people, my parents would only get like 4 of them a year for me when I was a kid, going back to something close to cable prices is astronomically retarded (though im sure some normalfags are just going to do it anyway)
I saw that nigga live during Mania weekend and he is TINY. I honestly don't think he hits 3 feet. He was in a tag match against Maki Itoh and Manders and they beat the shit out of and humiliated that dude for what felt like forever before he finally made the inevitable hot tag. Like the heat segment went on for so long it was uncomfortable. Borderline hate crime territory.

I don't really see why they would. It essentially means their competition gets less money and their library is much bigger without technically breaking any contracts. Netflix deesnt care since you're still subscribed to them. WWE doesn't care because they're getting paid by Netflix, not viewers. If anyone would try to crack down on it, it'd be lesser streaming programs trying to lobby governments to make it against the law to hinder their competition.
The sole reason Tony bought ROH was the fact that ROH owned All In 2018, the show that was the proof of concept for AEW as part of a deal struck by the Elite with ROH where they helped them set up the PPV.
The NBA is so annoying to watch you can live in Boston and it’s like well yeah I’m likely buying X or Y for the Celtics but fuck me since I’m here I actually don’t get it. I have to watch it on Z because of blackouts but down in New York they get Celtics on X and Y but boy if they try and find the Knicks it’s not even on Z. Oh and btw it’s not on Z because Z no longer carries NBA in New York, it still does elsewhere, but Knicks rights are now on this new streaming platform, but only if they don’t air on this local TV channel that night.
