I'm sure these epic conversations happen all the time. You sound bad ass.
Do what your name says.
Rhea hitting the wall. She never really did anything for me
Idk, I still like her. Not as much as the double ultra mega cheesecake thicc Latina Bayley or Chocolate Queen Jade Cargill, but I don’t think she’s hit the wall just yet.

Someone on here said she had “flapjack titties” once tho and I popped pretty hard. Idk why it made me laugh so much.

This has always been a problem with AEW. They do nothing to build for a PPV then just throw together a bunch of matches the week of the PPV.

Honestly even if AEW lost their TV deal I could see Tony just doing monthly PPVs with "dream matches".
Going back to tna circa 2002 lol. Way to move backwards Tony. When Dixie Carter is a better booker then you you failed. If Tony wasn't rich he'd be posting on 4chan.

Triplemania has hit over 3 million views on youtube and over 80 million views across all social media platforms. Over 19k in the arena. They have a ton of stars. If they get that TV rights deal in the states, screw TNA being number 2. AAA may get that number 2 slot.

Just an aside, I don’t understand why Meltzer and the dirtsheets are doing histrionics about Triple H counter programming AEW. People really forget how Tony Khan and his AEW crew mocked Triple H when Dynamite would beat NXT. How AEW fans would say that “Tony Khan had Vince fire Triple H from NXT”. How Tony Khan called Triple H and HBK bald assholes.

I don't know who in this thread said it earlier on, but it bears repeating: "you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube". We had the WWE Network for 9.99 and got EVERYTHING. Now they want to split content into chunks and double the price? Just give us the WWE Network back, charge 12 bucks and month and leave it at that.

The problem with that is that now WWE's programming is constantly being bidded on by people who want their content on their services. And as a business why would you turn down that kind of money? The only way the WWE network will come back is if WWE is dogshit for an at least 15 year period to the point that no one wants to host their shows. And I'm not saying "my favorite star isn't in the main event" dogshit, I mean literally unwatchable by all metrics.

I'd argue WWE Network wouldn't have happened if pro wrestling's popularity didn't decline in the 00's and 10's. PLE's probably would've been on a streaming service much sooner.

Just like their "Forbidden Door." "Dream matches" without any proper build-up whatsoever because their audience is expected to know them beforehand.
Say what you will about HHH, but his approach to bringing in popular overseas talent was a solid one. Bring them in, put them on NXT for a smaller audience that will no doubt be more familiar with them due to being younger and more involved with the IWC, let them get more comfortable with WWE's match format while also allowing casual fans to become more aware of them through product osmosis, then, by the time they hit the main roster, there's enough people in the audience who know who they are.

WWE has giant corporations fighting with each other to give them absurd amounts of money for content. $500 million per year from Netflix for Raw in the U.S. and international everything. $320 million per year from ESPN for U.S. PLE rights. $287 million per year from NBC for SmackDown in the U.S.. As convenient as a new WWE Network would be, it's simply not an option anymore because it wouldn't make them nearly as much money. I don't think it ever turned a profit for WWE until maybe the last year it was around. The network got taken for granted and now this is the consequence.

We didn't get everything, Raw and Smackdown were still on USA and the upload were like a week or so behind.

As others have said they'd be stupid not to slice up their content and sell to the highest bidder.

Brian Last pointed out that YouTube could be buyer for the classic WWE library and pointed out the WWE Vault channel and saying they're not doing this out of kindness. They're showing how classic content and unreleased content has potential.

Either way just get a VPN and watch on Netflix. Thats how I watch smackdown everyweek and eventually all my WWE content.

Both AEW and WWE are in a spot right now where they're not taking any risks or even trying to make things interesting. Same people being featured, same formula for the TV shows, weak builds to the PLEs/PPVs with little progress being made coming out of them. Even when "important" things happen, it doesn't change anything. WWE had Brock Lesnar return at SummerSlam after being away for two years, he hasn't been seen since and only mentioned once or twice. Cody got the title back and there's no story to his new reign aside from the usual "bad guy wants title and attacks champion" build to matches. AEW had their biggest show of the year last month where the unpopular heel champion finally lost and it was supposed to be this big moment for the company where the feeling is restored (a phrase I've come to loathe), yet the Death Riders shit continues like that never happened. Sure, both companies will have good or even great matches, but it's in service of nothing and on the whole it's boring.
as a WWE fan this is definitely an understandable criticism, in terms of post-Summerslam until a few weeks before the Rumble its been like this for awhile, even before HHH took over, id like to see more intresting shit come out of those months, I still have a difficult time with understanding why they'd fear the NFL season so much, theres probably some cross-over but not that much
k, I still like her. Not as much as the double ultra mega cheesecake thicc Latina Bayley or Chocolate Queen Jade Cargill, but I don’t think she’s hit the wall just yet.
this, its definintely bad angle shots some people do when people talk shit about her appearence, she's still at least an 8 in terms of attractiveness for now (im only a year younger then her so I can't talk too much shit in regards to her walling)

This, starting next year im just going to switch my NordVPN to Canada and sign up for Netflix there, theres not really anyway WWE could stop it even if they wanted to (which I doubt they really care a minority of us fans are tech literate), theres just no way to justify paying $30 a month just to watch the PLEs, even though they are mostly good, its just too much for people, my parents would only get like 4 of them a year for me when I was a kid, going back to something close to cable prices is astronomically retarded (though im sure some normalfags are just going to do it anyway)

OTIS ELIMINATED BY MICROMAN A GUY WHOS MAYBE 3 FEET TALL
According to wikipedia his billed height is 3 foot 3 or exactly 1 meter
I saw that nigga live during Mania weekend and he is TINY. I honestly don't think he hits 3 feet. He was in a tag match against Maki Itoh and Manders and they beat the shit out of and humiliated that dude for what felt like forever before he finally made the inevitable hot tag. Like the heat segment went on for so long it was uncomfortable. Borderline hate crime territory.

(which I doubt they really care a minority of us fans are tech literate)
Proton has an app on  Firestick. It's super simple to use. It's also how I get AEW PPVs for half off if I feel like watching them.

Hopefully Netflix doesnt crackdown on VPN use. I remember about 10 years ago I could use a VPN with the Fox and CBS sports apps and change my location to watch whatever football game I wanted. That lasted a season until they cracked down on it.

I don't really see why they would. It essentially means their competition gets less money and their library is much bigger without technically breaking any contracts. Netflix deesnt care since you're still subscribed to them. WWE doesn't care because they're getting paid by Netflix, not viewers. If anyone would try to crack down on it, it'd be lesser streaming programs trying to lobby governments to make it against the law to hinder their competition.

Tony bought ROH because he's a mark with nostalgia for when it was good like 15-20 years ago. He just wants to say he owns it and pretend he's carrying on that legacy when nobody watches that shit. He also needs a dumping ground for all the people he's not using and ROH seems to be where they're at. The only thing of value is its library of old footage.
The sole reason Tony bought ROH was the fact that ROH owned All In 2018, the show that was the proof of concept for AEW as part of a deal struck by the Elite with ROH where they helped them set up the PPV.

It's something that is happening across basically all sports content. You used to have packages for MLB, NFL, NHL, WWE, and other sports leagues (I know there was some Yank streaming platform that gave you access to all Premiere League games, for example.)

But now, shit is getting whittled down. NHL Center Ice used to be a pretty reasonably priced package that had all games from all teams. Now? You're paying through the nose to get the ability to watch one team, and only some games. Others are on other streaming platforms or elsewhere 'for free', but typically are shittier quality than what we were getting from like even 10 years ago. It makes no sense that we're paying significantly more and getting a shittier product, especially with how online streaming has come along.

There's definitely an element of the different services throwing tons of money at content providers like WWE being a factor, but I'd really like to see a neutral (lol) FTC (lol) investigation into collusion with this sort of shit (lmao.) Maybe in another lifetime.

The NBA is so annoying to watch you can live in Boston and it’s like well yeah I’m likely buying X or Y for the Celtics but fuck me since I’m here I actually don’t get it. I have to watch it on Z because of blackouts but down in New York they get Celtics on X and Y but boy if they try and find the Knicks it’s not even on Z. Oh and btw it’s not on Z because Z no longer carries NBA in New York, it still does elsewhere, but Knicks rights are now on this new streaming platform, but only if they don’t air on this local TV channel that night.

Then people go, you know I think NBA ratings are down because of 3s. No mother fucker, I literally can’t find the games. I can Google and while scrolling through outdated info because Google can’t keep up with blackout rules I’ve found 3 different free streams and just decided to bookmark those.

WWE is going down that road. It’s not rocket science and WWE is exponentially easier then figuring out NBA rights, but it’s so unbelievably easier to just have one watchwrestling bookmarked.
