Speaking of Leylas, what ever happened Layla? I always thought she was leagues better than Mrs Taker and deserved a Hall of Fame spot before her or at the very least should have been the one to inducted Michelle.

It's funny TNA being 'retarded' set an attendance record and had a feel good moment for longtime TNA fans with AJ showing up and the wrestling autists are butthurt about it. They seem to be getting a bit of a shine from their WWE partnership. Shame Tony threw that particular toy out of his pram, he could've done for TNA what he did for ROH if given enough time.

I'm almost interested in seeing what happens with this NXT/TNA storyline but can't be arsed to watch. Oh well.
 
I can easily believe it was Dave mistranslating some Japanese source, and just passing the mistranslated info along. Not that it excuses it. I think he's an autist, not an idiot. With that said, he has absolutely destroyed his legacy in spectacular, awe-inspiring fashion this past decade or so, especially the last few years. Reporting on a person's death and publishing it while they're still alive is indefensible.

Nice to see despite Violent J's hard-left turn in the last few years, Juggalos are still largely anti-queer.

If these guys are wrestling at the Gathering, expect Effy to catch a couple full 2 litre Faygo bottles to the head.

Honestly his legacy to begin with was pretty garbage. His only legacy is that he wrote about the insides of wrestling before people knew it was fake and his star system which he took from people like Jim Cornette and then broke it once Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay started having big Matches in New Japan. He’s never wrestled, booked a match, or did anything of note besides write about the behind the scenes for 45 years, and even then once the internet popped up and people knew it was fake there was no more purpose for him. But even then his legacy would unironically be better if he wasn’t such a blatant shill towards AEW that even his paypigs could see how biased he is.

Meltzer's legacy was as a great historian, and that's obscured by the circus that is his "journalism" and ratings scale. Especially the goddamn ratings scale.

Always remember: Angle, Mysterio, and Savage never broke 5 stars in their careers. His ratings for AEW matches are nonsense to me.
