I never thought I would post cagematch on here but I watched the show and thought it was just a perfectly fine inoffensive show and then I noticed that people on here are talking about how that show was the death of TNA and they’re writing full on essays about how bad the show was.

I don't give a fuck about TNA and even I was annoyed with TNA losing both of its top titles to NXT just on principle. The main gripe from most of the comments seems to be Santana not winning when it made the most sense. I feel like sometimes you have to give the fans what they want in the end, especially on this show if you're going to put them in a bad mood earlier with Masha losing the Knockouts title. With all the shit TNA has been through over the last decade and still survived, it's safe to say this won't kill them.

A lot of the discourse around hating TNA can be split into two groups

1. People who are hardcore TNA fans that are upset about TNA becoming a puppet of WWE (The youtuber Markyd123 is a big example of this.)

2. People who will basically always be anti-TNA because of too many LOLTNA moments and jokes, and TNA siding with WWE like Marigold, NOAH, and AAA have. (Maybe GCW too? I'm not familiar with GCW much.)

Many minds are so brainrotted they can't think about of rating things 0 or 10, and a lot of them will quickly forget about this show breaking TNA's attendance record. They gaslight about TNA being a little hot in the 2020s so they can go back to the nostalgia of joking TNA is just where people go when the "good" companies won't sign you/the retirement home.

This is Suzume, who does not have a character who’d pull a look like this, rolling her eyes and damn near her entire head before dropping her belt. One of the most absurd clear cut I’m annoyed I’m losing entrances I’ve seen in 25 years of watching. This is 90s level I don’t fear the booker or company and want the audience to know I’m above this, Nash and HBK level petty.

What did people think about the stunt Omega pulled with TNA?

Did TNA come off looking better overall or get anything out of it?

Legitimately asking because I don't watch TNA and curious if they get any sort of benefit or if my memory of them more or less looking like geeks holds up.

Supposedly Omega's TNA appearances helped a few of TNA's ppv buyrates at the time. I wouldn't be surprised if that is true but it's also safe to say that it faded as soon as AEW was bored of playing with TNA. I don't know the specifics cause I hate the safe edgy/reddit vibes that follows where the Young Bucks go.

Except there weren't any crowds there at the time and the only person that swears up and down that AEW cucking TNA for a few months was actually good is trannyfucker Scott D'amore.

Trick has shown up more in TNA than Omega did, and a few TNA guys have appeared in NXT, as opposed to AEW never acknowledging TNA existed. But otherwise pretty much the same.

We know that’s not true.
Trick is extremely over.
That’s like saying Jey Uso is dimeless.
Yeah Trick is incredibly over and the Jey analogy is pretty much spot on, he relies more on the crowd chanting to get over instead of his actual in-ring ability but unlike Jey, Trick is only like 31 which is incredibly young in today’s wrestling, he is still learning but he can still put on passable matches and his promos are decent, I could easily see Breakker and Trick becoming the next major WWE rivalry on the level of Cena and Orton

TNA is competition to AEW and is partnered with WWE so of course Cagematch neckbeards are saying it's the death of TNA

How many times people have wished TNA's death for many years yet it still lingers like a zombie?
I'm one of them. And one day, it's my hope that TNA and DSP will finally die in the obscurity they deserve.

In the meantime, the IWC hypocrisy on WWE's involvment with TNA vs AEW's involment never ceases to amaze me. It's not a problem for their beloved AEW to cuck TNA, but when WWE/NXT do it, it's the most evil and heinous thing to ever happen.
