With WCW having a Youtube channel and apparently starting to upload episodes of WCW Monday Nitro in order. Sooner or later they have to address the elephant in the room.

What will happen to footage that includes Chris Benoit? Especially when he becomes a member of the Horsemen?

If they do cut it, it's going to create a strong Streisand effect.

I think the bigger issue would be them showing a child and wife murderer on their channel.

Are there a large number of people clamoring for Benoit shit?

I'm not saying that people would love to see Benoit in the channel, the issue is how are they going to work around that, considering that they are starting to show the weekly shows.

Maybe the obvious answer would be that they would show highlight Monday Nitros from now on, but who knows.

I don't think they would go for in the slightest, theres a lot of smarks out there who are vehemently opposed to WWE censoring anything with Benoit, but the reality is he killed his wife and kid, even though there was a clear mental health problem its still horrid to do that, most normal well-adjusted fans aren't exactly justifying what Benoit did, at best its a cautionary tale that wrestling companies have a responsibility to get their wrestlers help before it ever happens again

this would make the most sense, most people don't really remember Benoits run in WCW except for a few noteworthy moments, they remember guys like Hogan,Sting,Goldberg,Hall,etc. I think morally speaking its ok to appreciate Benoit's in-ring ability but smarks who get weird about justifying the murders are just honestly pathetic, Owen and Eddie were also excellent wrestlers with tragic deaths but they can be remembered in a more positive light given the circumstances of how they died.

I'd imagine they just leave him in. I think they've had clips of him on their regular Youtube channel, haven't they?

But seriously you're 100% correct even with a roster like AEW with a locker room full of benched people this shit is just retarded and dangerous and eventually you are going to get someone legit fucked up in the ring.
Now I don't care, if you're an adult want to do silly shit thats fine. But what will suck will be the backlash of someone dying or getting graphically hurt on TV and a company like AEW won't know when to cut Cams and we have the injury hurt the business. Give it time before someone gets paralyzed doing dumb shit, not like the d'lo/droz injury, but doing a backflip off of a 15 cage and ending like a live leak video.

Don't get me wrong I love watching Hardcore bullshit but there is a time and place for it not on one of your biggest PPVs.

I don't understand Tony's fascination with having women have gore-fest matches on what seems like a constant basis. Does he know of no other way to end feuds?
 
The crowd at MSG for this week’s Raw was odd.

They were excited about yeeting, but so is every crowd.
Every little boy and zoomer wants to yeet with their dads.

They gave Logan Paul astronomical heat, the most I’ve heard since Hogan in LA.
Not sure if it was genuine heat or go away heat, that much probably a mixture of both.

Next to no reaction for Rey Mysterio which I know he’s getting old and was wrestling tag under LWO, but no pop when his music hit.

Underwhelming pop and general reaction for Cody, which is wild since his eye looks fucked and they’re still hot on the storyline from Elimination Chamber.

Do these people care about anything besides booing and yeeting?
Guess my expectations were higher for NY AND MSG in general.

it can very well be the women themselves wanting to do gorefests as a way of saying "i have something to prove. im a woman i can do deathmatches too." we know, you're not breaking any new ground

yup I don't believe it for a second either, Tony lets his talent do retarded spots on weekly TV, a shit ton of their roster is going to end up paralyzed, AEW sickos always bitch about the matches on RAW or SmackDown being boring but thats the point, the WWE always save the best in-ring stuff for the PPV, you cant be taking Alabama Slams on a ladder every week and expect to be able to function physically in your 40s
