I do wonder how this will impact pirate streaming. Last I heard Netflix has a much more dedicated squad than wrasslin's usual of Nate Glass and some pajeets off fiver
They'll likely have to increase the streaming amounts. I can just wait an hour or so to get the webrip version. There's a reason why VPN's and Seedboxes exist.
You could also in theory watch web streams on Discord. I used to watch movies with friends that way.
You're in Canada. It's Raw, Smackdown, NXT and whatever's on the Network like PPVs.
Still not worth it for me as there's nothing on Netflix to watch. Luckily for those who want it, Netflix isn't expected to increase subscription costs this year since they already did in October. 2025 is a different matter though all the streaming companies will be fighting for consumers so that will change how much they cost. I would rather have had RAW go to Amazon since I use Amazon Prime almost every other day and at least once a week. I don't watch anything they have on their streaming service though.

Not a fan of how they all have different tiers now and the lowest ones make you watch ad's. If people have to watch ads when they have basic than basic should be free. It's why television has died off. Not a lot of people can afford multiple streaming services or even news sites since they're all going with a subscription model too.

Wrestling fans go where the Wrestling is
I mean look at the E's deal with Fox

Let's say they get 1.5 million new subscribers who stay which is almost certainly wildly :optimistic:

That's $360 million a year. Netflix is paying $500 million a year. Is Netflix gonna make enough from inconsistent subscribers - people who sign up just to get Rasslemania then cancel, or do that several times a year for several PPVs, or subscribe for six months a year to get the best PPVs then cancel then do it again the next year, whatever - to make a profit?

Well it's not wwe's fault if Netflix got carnied

Yeah I can see the argument that streaming is going to be where WWE is no matter what, might as well work some marks while they have money instead of the times are tight.
Would be really funny if it turns out Netflix cannot into live events.

2k24 be lookin lit not gonna lie. Don’t care what Smarks say, 2K has some of the most in depth character creation and customization I’ve ever seen. Some of the CAW’s people do of wrestlers not in the game is mind blowing. You don’t NEED an AEW video game when you’ve got 2K.

It’s that same old crap that gets said about all gaming nowadays.
“New Game Bad, Old Game Good.”
I get it, HcTP was fun, yeah No Mercy was great. But for Christ’s sake try to see some of the good in things.
2k22 was a massive massive step in the right direction. 2k23 was even more, and 2k24 will be more still.
as much as i hate 2k for their bullshit online service of cutting it every 2 years after release, i do favour their stuff over AEW's fight forever game, both suck ass since wwe 13.
